Heck yes, Legion reveal was such an amazing moment back in the day when Me2 came out, people were freaking out in the Bioware's forum making theories and contemplating how great of a character it is (they for those who know ;D ). I'm really glad it still has the same impact on newer players as it had a decade ago.

Such a huge reveal. Never would I have imagined we would have a Geth squad mate but wow here we are. The amount of stuff we are going to learn will be amazing. It's crazy that one convo with Legion has me already thinking completely different about the Geth lol. Would have loved to be a part of this masterpiece of a series when it first came out. Better later than never but it must have been a wonderful time back then when it was brand new and relevant especially with the multiplayer the next game has too. I'm still shocked we have a Geth in the AI core just chilling 😂.

And it was so stupid because it didn't just spoil his future alias to the player, but the fact he didn't bear this alias in the first place!!! I've watched this moment in someone else's playthrough just couple months ago and it still was "Legion". You got lucky!)

@@Bowskii Bioware actually didn't fix this in legendary edition. The Community Patch mod that you installed did it. Legion's subtitle saying "Legion" and not just "Geth" when you first see him was something that really really bugged me with Mass Effect 2 and I'm glad modders fixed it for you.

Bowskii you’re a good soul. It’s tough to see you put through these hard decisions, but I’m glad you allow them to impact you. The respect and affirmation between Tali and Shepard do make them feel like a perfect fit, and it would be great to see you experience that romance, but it’s also awesome that you have the dedication to stick with Liara. Nobody can fault you for either choice. You weren’t expecting Legion, but you can’t be disappointed! Haha. Such a fascinating character. Can’t wait to see more. Also, in all my times playing this game I never tried nuking the reaper core! That was hilarious. There’s normally like 3 or so stages of that fight. But you just “noped” out of there. XD

Thank you so much for the kind words and lifting up my spirits. That was a tough scene to see it really destroyed me inside out. I didn't want to do something like that to another squad mate I'm so found of but it happened sadly. I just have a lot of love for Liara I just couldn't go behind her back now. I guess its like having your first love that how I feel about Liara its hard to walk away from something special. But Tali is def going to be my second romance I really want to see it and see the chemistry between her and shep bloom. Was totally expecting Kaiden but I'm so happy they threw a curve ball and gave us a Geth squad mate. I feel like this changes the whole game it just feel like such a revealing thing that will open our eyes to the true. LMAO I cant believe we one shot that reaper core. I knew the Cain was powerful but holy moly that was just badass. And wow 3 waves of them husks sound crazy hard.

Bringing Legion to Tali's mission is always fun, but you know what's even more fun? Bringing Legion to that random citadel sidequest you did couple episodes back, the one where the Asari can't leave because they might be Geth infiltrators. Meanwhile, Shepard's just chillin there with a geth...

The fact that it has dozens of dialogues between companions - man i hate you can only take two into missions- the shock of seeing a Geth with N7 armor talking and later becoming a companion is such a memorable moment.

Lmao 🤣 I have no idea how we can get fuel with negative credits 😆. I'm guessing the people in charge of that fuel station must love Atticus so much it's free of charge. And this will definitely go down with some of my most favorite gaming moments that I won't ever forget. Seeing a talking Geth in N7 armor and then he comes on the Normandy and becomes a squad mate. Absolute God tier writing this game has ATM. That lore dump though amazing. This is shaping up to be one of the best games I've ever played. I can't wait to see how it all ends.

I know this is 6 months old, but the Tali romance is by far imo the sweetest, heartwarming, and rewarding relationship of ANY game I've ever played. It's one of the only games I actually found myself smiling and feeling happy while seeing. (That and Karlach from bg3)

Seriously now all we need to do it convert a bunch of Cain's on Dreadnaughts and we are good to destroy any reapers. Really stoked to learn more about the Geth from Legion. What an epic twist first of all the fighting is brutal waves upon waves of enemies on that old Reaper, and than freaking geth in N7 armour appears and talks to you.. my jaw dropped when I first played hahaha! I was having so much fun listening to you guess who is our final companion knowing you could never ever possibly guess this! :) i was also afraid you might get some hints when you got the "geth shield" upgrade but glad you didn't! 😛 and what an awesome twist about the geth and lore drop about how they are as society and that they are not all the baddies we thought and how little we actually knew of them! and yes the reason ppl suggested you might wait with Tali's personal quest is so you can take Legion there and it's great for extra lore, I didn't want to spoil it but the thing is it's risky first time since you still have Legion's quest to do and there is an invisible timer ticking towards endgame now after Reaper IFF.. so if you stall too much or try to do too much after this quest there is a chance you wont make it and do all quests in time for endgame, this is why most of us said it's best to wrap things up asap on first playthrough :) but what an awesome final companion Bioware really throw a massive surprise with that one!! p.s. yeah that situation with Tali was painful 😪😪😪

Crazy!!! LOL what an epic mission. Every single main mission we had in this game was unbelievable so far. Them fights on the Reaper was so much freaking fun!! Its been hard in this game on Insanity as an Adept but we tore that ship apart with Biotics I loved every moment of it. And then a Geth wearing a N7 armor appears lol completely mind blown. I remember the upgrade we got on Tali's mission but I didn't put it together at all. I was feel 100 percent sure it was Kaiden wow I was so wrong here. I don't know if anyone could have predicted this one. Taking Legion with us on Tali's loyalty mission sounds so much fun I'm honestly glad we didn't do it though and that we seen the regular way first and now we can fully see what is different. Its weird because it don't fully feel like a point of no return atm but I'm def going to do Legions mission next EP for sure I just got to know more!! We can find out so much new lore!! I'm nerding out here. I feel terrible about turning down Tali like that but accidentally taking here to a point of needing to make that choice after she poured her heart out.. she def deserved better. I just couldn't do it I couldn't leave Liara. Goodness our Shepard's have tough choices in these romances.

@@Bowskii I've had that same picture since like 2011 😂😂😂 Not only the stuff you can learn, but the way Shepard and Legion have to talk to each other (as I'm sure you've picked up) is so different from the other companions. It feels almost like Shepard has to roll the conversation rather than Legion when they speak, compared to other companions where they elaborate even when not asked directly. It really adds to that robotic feel of the Geth overall :)

Really glad you did this mission now rather than leaving it to the last mission. Lots of people leave it for the end and miss out on dialog and time with Legion(although there is a good reason for this). Nice to see someone experience something different for once.

Reaper IFF quest is soooo hard, got my ass handed back to me several times. I'm not the swiftest dudette with m+kb 😅. Appearance of Legion must've exploded the internet, when the game came out. They are an awesome character. I love how the designer give Legion expressions with those small plates around the optics. Awesome design! And they are so COOL!

I agree this mission was so hard. My only saving grace was the biotics. I bet doing this mission as anything other than biotic user would have been so hard. Legion introduction was awesome. Absolutely love that they put this in the game. We all thought about it at some point I'm sure and bioware def delivered how cool!

Legion!!! I love Legion. All my homies love Legion. He is my AI son and I will protect him at all costs. Anyway. Tali is just so good. I will say.. you can look up the romances on the wiki (Maybe after completing ME3 to avoid spoilers for your first run) to see who is available to which Shepard. As much as I do like the versatility of DA2 sexualities, I appreciate the realism the ME series has with the diverse sexualities. For the most part lol. But I'm glad it got to you. I love the emotional parts of these games, and seeing other people get hit in the feels is why I watch these reactions. I'm really looking forward to when you get to 3.

Legion! We got a freaking Geth on board the Normandy and he's really cool!!! I cant wait to learn more about the Geth. This changes so much. That Tali scene absolutely shredded me inside. I felt like the biggest POS turning away from her and not committing to the relationship. I also really loved DA2 romances and how they were portrayed but I def agree and understand this way makes it more real feeling. But I do want a little more diversity like DAI maybe ME3 will expand on all that more.

Oh my I could only imagine how tough it was for you! Would probably need to use someone with Biotics as a squad to help some. I think concussive shot is good for them too but thing is companions have long cooldowns so I really feel your pain here. But it was fun as hell lining up them sniper shots.

Obtaining Legion earlier in the game does open up a couple of fun lines in one or two quests (notably Tali's loyalty mission), but it's not necessarily the best approach for a first playthrough. Now you've acquired him, though, you might want to take him with you next time you visit the Citadel. If you speak to the lady at the front desk about security, he has a dry little one-liner there. At this stage of the game, I'd suggest you do Legion's loyalty quest, and then go for the end-game. It's up to you, obviously, but for reasons I won't spoil, I'd recommend leaving any outstanding DLCs etc until after you've completed the main story. Again, just a suggestion. Play it your way!

Those video logs from the reaper... Yep. Classic case of space crazy, Sarge! There was actually a plan in development to have the reaper IFF be waited on AFTER the acquisition mission. So you can do the mission, get the IFF, and then hold onto it because... well it's a reaper IFF you should only install it when the commander feels comfortable having it installed. Also, yes. Geth! I love legion. Remember, Geth are software. Multiple programs working together are better then one program. It's how they gained emergent intelligence. 1 ant isn't much. A thousand ants make a colony. All working together. So legion is basically a million ants. An emergent intelligence utilizing 1,183 programs networked together in a single unit, instead of 1,183 programs networked across multiple units.

You can say that again. I know it was unsettling but I'm glad we saw more on indoctrination. How in the world are we ever gonna fight that.. Well they did at least try to hand us the IFF it definitely was a plan. I don't think they planned for indoctrination though. So the reapers can still do that when they are dead basically.. makes me wonder about the debris from Sovereign. To put that many units into one platform is brilliant by the Geth. Genius really.. just learning what we know now about the Geth things are going to be so different.

Ah yes. Reaper! What a twist Legion is sporting N7 armor. I'm excited to see you talk to him more... along with the main story. It sure gets wild from this point. That IFF mission is fuckin mad. So many husks ans scions. The double scions can be so deadly on their own. Good job not getting swarmed. I'm a bit nervous for rhe husks on my current insanity playthrough. Singularity Singularity Singularity 🤣. I feel for you though. Turning Tali down was rough to watch. I've romanced her, and it's very sweet. She's such a good soul and she's so loyal. She's my number one, but Tali is a VERY close second.

FInally, finally. Excellent, you meet everyone favourite Geth Interface cosntruct: Legion :D If, and I stress IF, you were going to reload a save, do so from before you recruited Tali. Because you can Take Legion to Recruit her! Ive done it a few times and it never fails to satisfy. Funny as hell, I dont think thats a spoiler? However regarding that one moment, when you choose Adept, or Sentinel or Engineer, you automatically remove your self from the possibility of getting specialised Weapon. Thats only for Soldier, Vangaurd and Infiltrator, you can get any specialised weapon training but those 3 classes gain access to power class specific Weapons. The awesome sniper rifle you found on the Reaper? thats one of them the other being Grunts claymore shotgun and my personal Favorite the M76 Revenant. Anyway, dont forget to get Legion Upgrade asap.

One thing I will point out, dont mess around too much with Legion at the moment, timing is critical because of your progress. That can be explained later if you want that information, but for now, too many diversions are a bad idea. Im assuming, in a second Playthrough, you wouldnt read every single planet system again? lol

hahah no I think the full reading of the planets will be a one time deal. Pack in the lore and remember it with brief over views of the planets when I scan. I've done so much reading in these two games makes me wonder how much the 3rd has.

I've never seen anyone nuke the Reaper Core LOL Normally it shuts down after a certain amount of damage but I guess the nuke is just one hit. Now you know why everyone was pestering about waiting for Tali's mission, I guess we'll see if it would be worth waiting for it👀 Again, poor Tali, I guess she hacked your audio and played her track to haunt you for turning her down LOL The insistence of your companions to romance you was really tempting when the game came out, because Lair of the Shadow Broker is DLC, so before it you had no way of commiting to Liara and Ashley/Kaidan just dump you in Horizon because of being in Cerberus and dead. And with point you're at in the story, I recommend leaving Firewalker, Overlord and Arrival for postgame and play them in that order, for story reasons. Firewalker and Overlord would've been better if you played them early to mid game story-wise (before IFF) but it'll be interesting to see how they turn out played later lol

Honestly Tali is great but Liara is forever my best girl. When Shepard died she didn't give up, recovered his body and made sure project Lazarus brought Shepard back. Maybe she is not a romantic type but I can't imagine someone caring for Shepard more than Liara.

And now that we did the shadow broker DLC its just something special I couldn't turn my back on her. Tali is wonderful though I wish I didn't break her heart like that I need to be careful with dialogue lol.

It always makes me extremely frustrated, but that the way this game works. Due to technical limitations of the time they had to rearrange the order of companion missions, something about that they couldn't fit all of the game on one disk. That's why there are two waves of recruitment, and Legion was fitted at the last part of the game. There's recorded voice lines in the game files for late companions, including Legion - for all missions, Mordin, Garrus and all those early recruitment missions, you should have been able to bring any companion on those, and spend much more time with them. Legion is the worst offender here, but other characters might have been nice to see in early missions, like bringing Tali to Garrus recruitment, and such. You still can do it, but you have to use safe editor for that, to "recruit" all companions from the start

yeah its really sad this was the case I would have easily brought Legion all over the place if we got him earlier without repercussions. My next playthrough I'm going to mod him into the game early or at least see if there is something.
