Very helpful - thank you. Have you found that if you have a Marker within a Region then the playback gets wonky? I tried regions for the first time today and found that when playback hit a marker that was within a region it skipped ahead to the next region, or stopped playback entirely if it was the last region in the playlist. just to add to your marker info... you can jump to the marker by pressing 1-2-3-4-5-6 what ever the number is. To jump to regions press option+1-2-3-4--5 etc. On mac.

The easiest way to move around bigger projects is to use the Region / Marker Manager window and click on the marker or region you want to jump to in your project. :0) Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R

zimous david you can go to 10 normally the way i mentioned, but you can assign key cuts to more if needed, like using number pad or cmd + number pad. there is also an action that will jump to region at mouse cursor. assigned to a key cut is another option. but if you have a hundred markers or regions then the fastest way is to use the manager like paul says..

how can I transfer all markers at the same time in the Reaper program? Or how to import markers with a time offset before they get into the project? I just don't want to manually move each marker forward and backward in time. I just need to move them all forward a few seconds.

By default it will just play through the entire song as regions are basically just section markers.

Hey I want to take either: break up a long song into shorter songs, without a gap between them, and render to a cd or to the computer first if I need to or have Reaper automatically make a new "track" as I'm recording and then render to cd. +Nils Östergren The quickest way to remove all markers is to use the Region / Marker Manager (View menu). Group select all the markers and press delete.

ReaperTV ah OK thanks for the quick response🙌 is it commala 5? Because I have that too but the setting where you can tint the things on the mixer too not just the tracks is grey so I can't change that so I just have a little colored stripe in the mixer...

No, I think this one was using Default Comalla 4 - the default version 5 stripped out the full colouring of tracks. I think this was reintroduced in a later version of 5, but it may be a variation of the standard version. it's been a while since I messed around with the theme tbh.
