Great video and great refresher for me. I own a 92 Toyota Tercel as a winter and second commuter car. Doing entire brake job and I last did rears 4 years ago. Toyota Tercel is an incredible car, I rebuilt an old Tercel a few years ago and it has the original alternator, starter and flywheel. Incredible car. Thanks for sharing that video.

very good video!!! I like the way you show it the "with and without the appropriate tools". It's very constructive because you show the right way to do it, not like an amateur. KEEP GOING WITH YOUR GREAT WORK!!!! :D

High temp brake pad or brake shoe lube where the shoes ride on the back plate - grease that contains some graphite or molybdenum disulfide or both. Put some of the same grease on the pins for the handbrake lever, before tapping the pins into the shoe. Makes them easier to tap out if you have to get them out to re-use them, next time - and on the pin where it goes thru the hole in the handbrake lever. Also just a tiny bit on the brake shoe ends where they fit into the piston, adjuster, etcetera. Just a very thin film here - you don't want grease to get into the brake fluid, or onto the brake linings. Helps shoes be free to move and center themselves, and that helps make sure the new linings wear evenly, and last long. When putting the drums back on, you need to know how far to screw down the axle nut before installing the cap and cotter pin. Generally this is done by screwing down while turning the drum, until a certain torque is reached, then backing off a set number of turns, and then retorquing to a lower torque, and then pulling the drum in-out and using a dial caliper to check the play. You don't want the roller bearing tight to the race; you want just a bit of play there. I don't know what the spec is but a good guess is 0.05 mm +/- 0.02 mm, that's about 0.002 inches +/- 0.001 inch,

Yo no se como estos mecanicos no tienen gusto para hacer un buen trabajo, deberia usar brake cleanner para hacer una buena limpiesa y no montar las partes nuevas encima de toda esa mugre.

On the front brakes

well the front brakes are different from the rear brakes. Front brakes are disc brakes with a rotor and brake pads. Rear brakes are drum brakes with brake shoes and a brake drum.
