Not sure ,but you should be able to access it once the bumper is removed .

How do you add a bumper hitch..or a Reese hitch to pull a small trailer

Bumper hitch will need to be mounted to frame . I don't really do that so my check with a shop that installs hitches.

So you didn't show how you got to this point where you start the video. I am trying to remove that upper trim piece and have no idea how to do so. I see two screws holding the bumper on (2020 Renegade) and the two green clips also. However there is no way to access the clips that I can see because of the inner wheel well cover is blocking everything.

Ok, I watched the video I made to try to uderstand what your refering to. It was hard to watch because my camera work was so poor. You should be able to remove the innner fender if it's limiting you access to bolts you need to remove. It's probably held in with some 10 mm nuts or screws . If I'm understanding you correctly.

Ok, i think i understand better I read your comment again. Your wanting to remove the wheel opening molding. There's no access to th clips from the back side. You need to use a clip removal tool like the one in the video and carefully slide it under the molding and onto the clip. Compress it with the tool until it releases. This is not always easy. Hope this helps.
