I love watching people using the wrong tools to do a job
@mattandkatchristie25523 жыл бұрын
Lol ppl on here worried about your music and the way you done the job. As far as I'm concerned it's your video and you got the job done. God job! Great video!

Great ideas..solving a lot of anger and frustration. Once the bolts are beyond surface rust no amount of penetrating oil does the trick..need brute cutting force. Do more videos and thanks.

Thanks....how much miles on the Endeavor? Mine is a 2008 with 185000 kM and I have to do this. Did you also replace the sway bar bushings? Best.

You don't need silly music in a video. You really don't.

A little anti-seize on reassembly is always a good thing.
@coryastbury8864 жыл бұрын
you should have replaced the sway bar bushings and grease them , the one you put back on are worn out part of your knocking noise

This instruction video was very clear and concise; easy to see and understand. I am in no way a mechanic but I'm wondering if you have this type of video on repairing 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse cars?
@nunkirider87384 жыл бұрын
They use the same part so I presume the procedure will be very similar.

I wish you would do that video about replacing sway bar on a 2005 Buick Lacrosse and please do it slow enough that I can see what you're doing thank you very much

What kind of impact gun we using to remove the nuts??
@nunkirider87385 жыл бұрын
+feito casillas - it is a cheap 1/2' electric impact wrench Chicago Electric power tools that I bought from Harbor Freight ... no compressor needed :)

Why are you cutting the bolts off ??? Are they rusted?? On are they welded on???
@nunkirider87384 жыл бұрын
Seized up nut and bolt due to rust easier to remove by cutting the bolt.
@Macnificent78_4 жыл бұрын
@@nunkirider8738 see here the thing im not sure if its welded or not
@georgecroney61682 жыл бұрын
@@Macnificent78_ it's simply rusted, they're totally exposed to the ground at all times, these things happen.
@angieforkner2102 жыл бұрын
Is it normal for the ends to move?
@nunkirider87382 жыл бұрын
@Angie Forkner - A good sway bar end link joints are tight to wiggle… If you can wiggle them easily, it needs to be replaced. Thank you for watching the video....

Get you a can of nut blaster,let it sit for awhile get your tools in order .The nut blaster works good.All that dam cutting and sawing is not even necessary.Take your time .I,ve done wheel bearings,struts,control arms, and more.This would cause a accident.
@armstrong41963 жыл бұрын
The wheel has to be tightened by hand when is still up in the air and torque to spec when is on the ground already 🤦.
@The18tvw2 жыл бұрын
This was a bit terrifying to watch.
@samuelmarchese1214 жыл бұрын
... You did the absolute most... Ive never seen someone have to destroy sway links to get the nuts off.... And the angle grinder.. And the sawzaw?! Im so confused 😂😂😂
@brianfranks31233 жыл бұрын
That's really not that easy to DIY...
@billysonlinesurveychannel82473 жыл бұрын
its actually very easy this video is just terrible. Put rust penetrator on the bolts every day for 2-3 days before doing this job and it will make the process a lot easier.
