I recently fitted a set of cheap rear wheel bearings to my Mini - same make as yours! I figured it wasn't worth the expense of Timken for a car that will see a very low mileage plus they are easy to replace if they do fail. However I made the mistake of using the grease that came with the bearing kit - big mistake. In the warm weather this spring the grease melted and ran into the brake drums (both sides). Car was not in use and fortunately I spotted the leak before the shoes were contaminated. Bearings had to be removed, de-greased and re-packed with Castrol LM.

Love the Rostyles. I had them on my rally Mini for years and the Traveller even ran them for a bit. Must get them pulled out and given a refurb.

Would you have considered superfins on the rear? Where did you get the toe eye from?

No I never did really don’t see the gain of them for the money but they do look good. Not sure where it came from found it in some spares buddy

I’ve recently done the rear bearings on mine and the stench of the old grease is nasty.Besides that it was quite an easy job
