Quick tip for anyone that needs it. If you need to keep the window up and out of your way, you can use two suction cups (one on each site of the glass), and a bungee cord drapped over the top frame of the door and that will keep your window glass hanging out of your way as long as you need it, and no chance of it breaking.

Oh my god, flashback to my childhood where my mom owned a 2003 ford taurus & the window literally popped out of the car if you rolled it up too much (it also eventually wouldn't go into drive - so we had to reverse it until it died).

Nice fix .....the windows on these are common ....when I did my rear passenger side it had a decent sized wasp nest in the door . Scared me haha

Guess I am lucky with my 2003 Trailblazer. It is the LTZ version though. It has a Bose sound system in it from the factory and all the speakers are really good, including all the door speakers. The speakers are cheap ones like you are saying, they are high power speakers and have real good bass to them. All the windows work with no problems too although I had to replace the main power window switch in the drivers door. You don't want to buy one of them new, it will run you about $500 and then an additional $150 to program it. Chevy actually calls it a module, not a switch assembly. I got mine from a local U-Pull-It place for $16 and since it came out of a vehicle, it was already programmed.

Bose speakers on the trailblazer LTZ (I have a 2002) are great. It's a bummer the rear left speaker (behind the driver) went out. I didn't notice it until I tested each speaker when I put my new infotainment system in (it added RGB lights, bluetooth, XM radio, USB, and an aux.). I need a new driver seat because the leather is starting to peel off. The mechanical mirrors work but the controller for them snapped off years ago, the center console lid snapped off, too. Other than that, really good car with stock transmission at 145k miles and original engine (belts replaced once 4 years ago). The radiator exploded about a year ago and plumes of white smoke escaped the hood. Only ran me $210 to replace the radiator. Other than that, no issues other than brakes, battert, etc. Reallu solid car and I'm going to try keeping it 'till she is a classic.

@@worldoftomorrow2078 Mine is up to about 208,000 miles now. Replaced most of the front suspension on it, things were bad and wanted to get an alignment and also needed for inspection. Still has the original 4.2 L straight six engine in it too. I do need to replace the hood as it is rusting out around the latch assembly and had to weld a reinforcement in to keep the hood from flying up while driving down the road.
