Nice equipment and nice work. But I wonder something about your orchard. There are a lot of moss and weeds on your trees. Why did you let them grow and why dont you get rid of them? Arent they harmful for your trees and nuts?

Birsan, Thanks for asking. Fortunately, the moss and ferns are not harmful. Some neighboring filbert farmers even harvest the moss to sell to florists.

I've got a hazelnut orchard that looks about the same. The moss/ferns don't hurt anything, other than they'll make the branches heavier and more susceptible to breaking, but that's about it.
