Reason for Writing

The relativism of our age would have us think that we can believe whatever we want and do whatever feels good. In contrast, Jude, writing nearly twenty centuries ago, appealed to believers to contend for the faith and to beware of those who were distorting the Gospel by exchanging its freedom for license. Alistair Begg reminds us that Jude’s appeal, while unpopular, is just as critical today. Genuine Christians must stand firm for “the faith,” neither adding to it nor subtracting from it, trusting that true freedom is found in Christ alone.

Thank You Pastor Begg for speaking The Truth on utube. I was raised & taught the scriptures in the Presbyterian church in the late 40s in a little town/borough west of Erie PA on lake ERIE. My mum’s family lived in Johnstown/Conemaugh Borough in the Presbyterian Church. My Faith & Family was rooted in her Scotch Irish heritage. I thank GOD for this even now at the age of 77yrs. So now I just moved to Sandpoint Idaho and I find myself seeking a church home here 🤔Things have changed so much in the US and the world it’s difficult to seek God’s Truth and find it. Thank you for your service on utube to keep me grounded. ✝️🙏❤️

I am middle aged and Its really this close to impossible to get the younger generation to go to Church or listen to some youtube ministry or read The Bible. Not that I would want them to without mentorship such as yours, which is also rare and this close to impossible to find.

About the 17 1/2...18 min mark, I also wanted to point out that the Roman Catholic church also points to the keeping of Sunday instead of seventh day Sabbath as proof of its authority. They boast about changing it, there's no basis in Scripture.
