About the 28:00 mark Reason opens up about how as men were taught not to open up about our feelings said him and his friend sit for 3 hours in a bar and talked about sports lebron and steph who was better but never brought up the fact his friend was losing his wife and kids from a divorce and Dj envy jumps in and ask so who you got lebron or Steph CTG got Steph over lebron smh redirecting the whole conversation on a topic that doesn’t matter smh that’s the problem nowadays with some a these platforms and not having a journalist degree he totally missed an good conversation about that smh

@28:16 As a woman, I can tell you my least favorite part of hanging out with women is them laying all their troubles at your door. They will call you up and complain about their man cheating on them, refusing to get engaged (but wants to impregnate them), etc. Then the next time you see them together they are all smiling and happy. Women dump on other women so that they don't have to deal with the issues in their relationships. When I asked, "Did you tell him all that?", the answer is always NO. If anything else, a reason interview is going to be a good interview. You can also tell he's one of the dudes that's going to clash and potentially get in trouble with others because some of us can see the forest for the trees and would like to work outside of the machine. But the machine is the machine and it has its own ways and mechanisms and you got to sacrifice and compromise in order to be a part of it. Some folks have to sacrifice a part of their soul, others sacrifice their work, and others change their life to adapt to the machine. But when you see the forest with a trees and what's wrong with the flow of the current and how your people generally accept it as to not look like a rabble rouser, it can definitely spell trouble for you because you can only hold this stuff in so much before you explode and the kick back maybe much harsher than you thought. Anyways I love that Charlemagne said he could do work on another name like explanation that was freaking awesome lol. Great interview guys.

First, reason you fire and the project is awesome. Now to charla, Steph may be 3-1 vs Bron but ppl who actually watched are capable of contexualizing their series. 2015 - love didn't play in the finals. Kyrie only played the 1st game of the finals. 2016 - cavs won came back from being down 3-1 2017- warriors got kd 2018 - kyrie was on Boston, leaving bron to go against kd and curry dolo. Now since 2018 steph hasn't beaten bron. The first play in year bron hit a game winner over steph. This past year the lakers beat the warriors in the playoffs. So bron is actually 3-3 vs steph in the playoff.

I mess with Reason but to TDEs credit they dont just drop songs or tapes historically. They go for quality over quantity. They did that early on but arguably they built the cache to stand on how they release and do features, tapes, singles, loosies etc

MAJORITY of their artist have talked about not being able to release as much. It's something the label struggles with. But I think the artist struggle as well. It's hard to release an album while you're touring.
