A +9 on-hit fast low poke is absolutely insane. It being only -2 on block is almost laughable. The balancing in older Tekken games makes absolutely no sense, and people still complain about Tekken 7.

Jin was actual and literal trash in T6. He had the weakest combos and didn't have most of the Zen stuff you do now, pretty sure F4 didn't convert to Zen either. Was the same in Tag 2. Considering his difficulty as well Jin was clearly bottom tier.

Also, Lars is top 2, Bruce is 3 and Steve is 4. Steve was good but not that good you must be thinking of Tekken 5. You can even put Lars at 1 instead of Bob. These two were considered the best, bruce is always 3 tho.

It means that if you do a move that is +9 frames that means that your character recovers faster You have 9 frames to do whatever move you want ranging from 1 frame to 9,before your opponent recovers and is able to block.If im plus 9 and i choose to do a simple jab(which is 10 frames fast) that means that my opponent will be able to block it

That's your time advantage. Some moves give you advantage (+) meaning you can keep being offensive, some moves give you disadvantages (-), meaning you have to go defensive.

A basic jab is the fastest universal (for all characters) in the game at 10 frames. Therefore if something is -10 it is punishable. I'm this game anything below -10 is considered safe. This is not factoring in pushback from some moves. Some moves are very punishable but leave the opponent too far to punish unless near a wall.

Basically, -2 means you recover 2 frames after your opponent. +9 means you recover 9 frames earlier than your opponent.

Another one of these NPC comments The Lars bit is not even true, he only had success in South Korea and Japan despite how insane he is, and the only tourney Lars won during the T6 era were the Tekken Crash tournaments. Yes Lars was present in EVO 2009 (I believe it was that year) but even then, it was Crow (a Steve and Bob player) that got to 9th place then finally lost to JFJ after a last second switch to Lars
