So I said to her. To Each there own. She raved On about iher sex. So again I REPEAT the same to each There own as long as you Don't shove it down my Neck. Other people were there Too. No one said a thing. And she left. And I thought She had to except it or Didn't. But I wasn't rude To her. To each there own. And go live your life.

"What a waste of energy to spend this short and vulnerable existence wondering what other people think" I felt that
@clr9773 жыл бұрын
Agreed, applied to the global populace. But experience proves that energy is gained FROM people, not from your own existence but from it interacting with others. This statement is like a beautiful oxymoron, valuable when needed, but toxic when overused, like everything else. Some people want to be Nietzsche, yet forget he died a somewhat dark death. Kind of a silly trade honestly, people like this set the foundation for us to do better, not the same. I noticed the past few years people becoming, almost addicted to influence of past minds. I’m sure they wouldn’t want that, they’d want us to combine their “new” views at the time with the new of today and the facts of the past before either. Really rational in my opinion. Most Psych majors I have met in my life are very bland and don’t seem to enjoy reality, according to their own words at times. This baffles me, they say the more intelligent you become the more sad you can be, but at the end of the day it is your choice. None of this applies to anyone that do not wish it to. Peace to all and strength through hard times, be stoic, yet be uncontrollably maniacally joyful in the moment.🙏🏽

@clr9773 жыл бұрын
@@khimaros Exactly, inevitably, in a world where most cannot fly, a hawk will look like a vulture. It’s almost impossible to “forge your own path” without seeming like a dick. 😭. I try to separate my personal life from my social life and only include the two in a vesica piscis. That keeps being a dick to a minimal and with least backlash. 🤣
@True383 жыл бұрын
@@clr977 Well, look at it this way. You can't control how others perceive you unless you're actually behaving like a dick to their face. Second, you don't owe anything to anyone just like the world does not owe you anything. So just stay on your own path and forget everybody else. What you choose to do with your life is none of your buisness. The only thing that matters is what YOU want to do, not what everybody else is doing. Because if you get influenced too much by what everybody else is doing, you're going to find yourself in a maze you can't get out of. You'll lose a sense of who you truly are and what truly matters to you. You know this to be true if you look deep within yourself. You don't want to do what everybody else is doing and you don't want to be a steretotypical man. You have something deeper inside you that you want to show the world. And only those with great courage and fearlessness do just that. When you act with love and abudance in life, you always win no matter what. How you want to be remembered in life is your choice, and your choice only. Make your legacy worthwhile because you only get one chance.

While I've been dealing with stuff like this my whole life (like practically everyone), and I've been successful & being true to myself, I've felt myself faltering in my resolve which has made me a tad depressed the past few days. Feels like everything around you is trying to change you in some way. Sometimes the urge to just fit in is so great because being part of the collective is easier than standing alone. However when you realize that those in the collective will never truly accept you because of who you really are you begin to realize how alone you really are. That's something I'm trying to come to terms with. Sorry for the incoherent rant. Needed to get it out of my system.

It’s easy to say “don’t care what other people think” but it’s a difficult balance, because on some level it benefits us to care, being as our world is formed by those around us and they directly impact our life. When you finally realize that what others think means absolutely nothing in terms of you and how you choose to live your life, it is what can truly liberate you. I recently got banned from a discord server for asking a question, everyone turned on me so fast and I really didnt use the server to be upset about being banned but what you said about herd mentality stuck out. I said something that the boss didnt agree with and then the herd singled me out and tried to use their power over me. But they have none, I was never in the server for approval from my peers, just to play videogames with like-minded people and I never even reached out to do that because it was a bother to begin with. They would only play 2K and CoD and chat was nothing but complaining about them whenever they weren't playing. I was sulking about being kicked out for something as simple as defending a game, but it really doesnt matter. I didnt know those people and couldnt really care about their opinion one way or another. Thanks Einz!

I dont play bad games, I despise them entirely, so much so that I've deemed good games bad too soon and never picked them up again because I dont wanna waste my time. but DBZK is not a trash game. is it amazing? no. but its a great introduction to the anime and adds clarity to a very long and messy story. As a fan, I can appreciate the finer details and small nods to the manga, and i can see where the game gets repetitive but so does every game. it was nonsensical but it happened and ive moved on, they were just followers.

Lol I’m an introvert, too. But my problem isn’t that I need to be liked; it’s that I fear being hated. I struggle with doing simple/repetitive tasks too slowly, being disorganized, being late, etc. It usually results in a lot of negative or venomous feedback. And the bitterness persists regardless of how apologetic I am or how much I try to improve, so caring less about others’ opinions would be really helpful 🫠

This is something I really needed to hear and to remind myself. It makes more sense that when people online say their opinions about you they often may be projecting their insecurities onto you. But when they see you don't live up to their expectations it's a crime. Like why would you want to be a copy and paste of something you are not. I'd rather do what I like than be a mindless sheep following the crowd. It really makes you think that all these persona's on social media is not the final result of that person. Consider this; People only care about how you make THEM feel since they can't handle reality that isn't local to their brain. No-one really care about what you do or how you feel, as long as you don't infringe on their comfort zone by doing something that wakes them up from their thoughtless slumber. Why cause yourself distress and waste your own precious emotional energy on others who can't even handle what's behind their own eyes? Focus on your own emotional comfort and being happy. Live on your own terms! People will always tell you what's best. But only you know what's best for yourself, it's a feeling we call "happiness". If you were going to die today, would your life be filled with positive people and good memories? Would you be be happy about the way you lived your life? If you said yes; Congratulations! I'm happy for you! If not; live the life you really want. Go with your gut feeling. You deserve happiness just as much as anyone else, no matter what your brain can tell you sometimes.

this is an especially important topic to discuss in todays world where a famous person just has to be alive and breathing for thousands of people to go online and say extremely horrible and mean things, or even if you're just a regular person people willl just attack you for no reason. I would always take that personally and ask what's wrong with me, but it just got too exhausting caring because ultimately im just trying to live my life and exist and these people who attack me for no reason whatsoever aren't worth any amount of time or energy because they've already judged you and determined your worth and they barely know you exist. Unfortunately this is far too common and im not sure why, but I also won't spend time trying to figure that out and instead focus on finding people who won't judge me before they make any sort of effort to actually get to know me
