It's an extremely long stretch to call Steven Anderson a pastor. He speaks like Satan would, but his followers don't see it. Steven Anderson is someone who would love to take up the whip and be the enabler of a crual sadistic like god, to enforce a toxic relationship. Meanwhile the preaching of a so called loving god is only under the threat of being punished, just like a toxic relationship. Just like Satan would. Steven Anderson hasn't got the slightest notion of why Jesus died on the cross. Not the slightest, because Steven Anderson is so blinded by his own conviction and hate, he can not have room for what actually sets free: "Love one another as I have loved you." (John 13:34). There can not live love where there is so much hate. And think logically as well. The purpose of life is not to suffer, but to be filled with love for one another. That would truly make the world a better place. Not unecessary illogical sadistic hate.

Kindly, no preacher is perfect. I agree with you that the New IFB need to work on loving sinners. They are just broken people created in God's image. But when I humbly look beyond Pastor Anderson's faults, I see a sincere man who genuinely loves God, hates sin, loves righteousness, loves truth and wants to win as many lost sinners to Jesus Christ as he can. Steven Anderson comes much closer to being right, than all the wicked people today who have no regard for the Holy Bible. They have no fear of God or regard for man. I love Brother Anderson (and you too my friend, with God's unconditional love for people). People just want to be loved.
@Rain-Dirt11 ай бұрын
@@redeemedsinner8091 "who genuinely loves God" No. He loves something of which he thinks it is God (but it most certainly is not the one as described in the Christian Bible). In christian terms, Anderson to me is so far off, that Jesus would not visit him, because Anderson would not invite someone or let someone in like Jesus. Anderson would most likely call Jesus a *p_ssy*. "than all the wicked people today who have no regard for the Holy Bible." So everyone who does not believe in the christian God is wicked? I have met 100's of people who I consider with the utmost certainty are less wicked than Anderson, yet these people do not believe (in the christian god). Man, you have not at all explored or questioned the Bible or other religions have you? And I mean with 100% honesty, no (religious) bias. Anderson is not even a pastor. He's a hate preacher. He has no regard for any religion or nature. What he has is a twisted interpretation of the Bible (which means not accurate to begin with) and his hateful nature brings him to this interpretation. That is the thing about the Bible. Let 100 people read it individually, there will be changes in interpretation because of what we already know and because of our character. Anderson's character as it is is hateful. There is no possibility that he can preach love. His blindness does not allow for it. So when you "humbly" regard this person, perhaps also humbly consider that he can not be the right person to preach the Gospel. "I see a sincere man who genuinely loves God, hates sin, loves righteousness, loves truth and wants to win as many lost sinners to Jesus Christ as he can." Anderson does not love truth, he sure nailed the 'hating' part, it's not up to him to "win" many "lost sinners" to god. If God is truly a fair god, he would not let people do his dirty work. ESPECIALLY not in the way Anderson does it. If anything more people would stray away from the Christian God because of Anderson's deceitful depiction. Recap: Anderson's hate is stronger than his desire to actually love. He would not mind if gay people would die. Do you understand what that tells about Anderson? That he does not understand the BIble AT ALL. Not contextually, not linguistically, not historically, not culturally,... Aside of that, he does not understand nature either. He is ignorant, hateful and above all A HATE PREACHER, but not a pastor in any way! (btw, looking at people like sinners is an unhealthy approach. Better to look at people as people and consider yourself to be one of those as well. Otherwise it just invites some form of distance, condescendence and arrogance eventually. I can know, I used to be a christian fundamenetalist.)

Anderson is under the law of the old covenant, and he wants to cast the first stone at the sinners, Jesus said, he that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her. { John 8:7 } Anderson needs to love his neighbor, which is the second commandment of God. Anderson contradicts himself with this one. He's famous for saying (correctly) that salvation is by faith ALONE. "If ye confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe in thy heart, thou shall be saved." Trump has declared to the world the name of Jesus (and no, he doesn't claim HE'S Jesus) and after recent events I'd say he believes in his heart. He has said numerous times since the assassination attempt that he feels like God protected him. So what if he's a little awkward about it, he's a babe in Christ and some people stay that way. But he's saved. He proclaimed it publicly, and God knows if he believes it in his heart. Puffed up with pride would be saying "Nah, I don't need salvation.", not being proud of your accomplishments. Parents can be proud of their children, and the things they achieve because it's their child for one thing, and a direct reflection on their parenting for another. Anderson throws around the word reprobate carelessly and too often.
