Modern Judaism doesn't worship the same God. "No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also." - 1 John 2:23

And that's why they are Jews and not Christians, toa.
@Sunsetdriver857 жыл бұрын
jehanzaib19 Referring to just the old testament, you could say so. But ultimatly, judaism after Jesus, do follow the same God, but deny the fact that He sent THE messiah, Jesus Christ, therefore, the religion is false. Jews today are not of God. The country of Israel is illegitimate regardless of your eschatological (end times) views. Many say the country of Israel is a fulfillment of prophecy, but it aint, its just zionist nonsense. So If they deny Christ, they are not of God and God will deny them.

Lovely explanation..... God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not the same as the Allah of the Muslims. The Muslim Allah doesn't understand any other language other than Arabic. While the God of the Christians created all languages by giving human wisdom, Knowledge and understanding. The Islamic Allah does not allow his followers call him father, for his relationship with his followers is regarded as a master and slave relationship. There are numerous examples that differentiates The God of the Christians from Allah, the god of the Muslims.

It's amazing how Christians believe that trinity is totally understandable like we are the one who are idiots... Wooooow
@andys30357 жыл бұрын
Tarik that is not accurate. Each is identified as a "person" and each share in the one divine nature. Person and nature are different categories. It's one God revealed in 3 persons. Remember that persons does not mean people when describing the Trinity. It's rather a way of describing characteristics of each person, love between them, etc. They are distinct in their person and the same by nature. Hope this helps

I love Abdu Murray's comment here about how insulting it is to sugar coat the Truth, and in fact it is cowardice, and an insult to God. True Christians are willing to take up their cross, but in obedience to Christ, and therefore in Wisdom. What is interesting is that because true Christians are the Light of the World, they become one with Christ, so I suppose we might say the Church is also God.

The Biblical God is not the same as Allah of the Qur'an! Only ONE, The Lord Jesus Christ is True God! Amen HOLY BIBLE-ISAIAH @,,,I am the LORD, and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.” 44:6 “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Lord Jesus Christ said: “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” (HOLY BIBLE-JOHN @)

Leave it to man to levitate his own to idolize. God is God and man will never understand its Oneness. Man will always make God like man instead of realizing we are like God
@frankly.speaking6 жыл бұрын
Another few essential reason that stands out between the two Gods that has been ignored and that is the Qur'anic Allah (The God) does not claim that his sacred name is Yahweh (I AM), secondly he never claims to be the Father, third he never claims to be the God the Savior, finally Yahweh is love and Allah isn't.

The Bible God is so human like in nature. For example, He created the world and rested on the seventh day. Was he tired? He wrestled with Jacob and lost? He has a "back part" as Moses saw? He felt sorry after destroying humans with Flood. He woke up like a drunkard with smoke in His nostrils. He died and resurrected. It's hilarious, what kind of God is that?
@blanktrigger88635 жыл бұрын
"What kind of God is that." One who predates space-time-energy and can therefore transcends human conceptions of what God should and shouldn't be able to do. For example, you remove Allah's omnipotence by saying he can't incarnate. You remove his immutability by saying he can't be triune: for since the Word of Allah isn't also Allah then Allah is therefore divisibile. Allah therefore can not be eternal as he isn't even infinite (to subtract anything from infinity still = infinity, but you've subtracted the Word of Allah from Allah and it equals something less than Allah, therefore Allah isn't even infinite). Etc etc.

@dantebbe3 жыл бұрын
The Unitarian tradition unfortunately doesn't confine it's beliefs to Scripture. Individual Unitarians will hold an assortment of beliefs, and their status is between them and God. But I don't see how Unitarians can reconcile the exclusionary claims of Scripture with their inclusive practices.

@discoverednotcreated9 жыл бұрын
Islam does not account for the physical or material in its tradition. The physical cannot be eliminated so easily and it was not intended to be. We are made in God's image and made to carry the knowledge of good and evil. We are meant as God's center piece of creation, to know God and being physical creatures we are forced to understand him through this physical form we take. "Submitting" to God by the way of respecting the physical and coming to terms with the duality of physical reality is necessary. The goal of this is ultimately to know God through understanding ourselves and respecting creation. Submitting to God in a mindless way without respecting the purpose of the material in theology is serious error theologically. Ignoring the physical in theology defeats the whole purpose of worship and the concept of God in the first place. It is a weak, dead end theology.

DiscoveredNotCreated: If Jesus is God one would expect him to admit he is good in the sense that God is good, meaning perfect. However when we read the Bible we see that Jesus denies being good in the sense that God is good which is perfect. Here are the passages: Mat 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

+ابراهيم ياسينread it again then look to see the underlying assumption that is in Jesus's response. No. Positively, definitely no. Never was. Cannot be. Incompatible. Jesus obeyed the Father and was led by the Holy Spirit all by choice and will. Human words Triune One God, Three Persons - think of electrons or photons Are they matter (blobs of stuff) or are they oscillating coupled electromagnetic rays - energy ? Both and neither AT THE SAME TIME A clue about how mysterious is the nature of the Creator who actually made spacetime

Allah or God is the One Trinitarian Christians wrongly call "The Father of Jesus".
@andys30357 жыл бұрын
Adambrown Hussein that is not true. The old testament refers to God as Father and Christians remained to true to calling God this. It's Muhammad who incorrectly thought that by calling God a Father meant he had to have sexual relations. This is because Muhammad was always thinking about sex.

I have read both the Bible and the Quran enough times to conclude: It is the same God. In Quran, the angel Gabriel clearly describes the deeds of the same God as he talks about the events with Abraham, Moses etc. The Quran is supposed to be the final testament, following the new testament of the Bible. In all honesty, they should just combine the two books for the sake of common sense and peace between the religions.
@cyryc8 жыл бұрын
except that Jesus, in the Bible said he was the last, and that the one who'd come after him using his name would be a false prophet. They aren't the same, considering the narrative differences. If you look at it from the viewpoint of reality, you'd realize Mohammed was a con artist who used the already popular lores and inserted himself. The core of Islam is 'Use non-muslim laws and lores against them until all have been conquered for Allah', and since 'Allah' as written in the Quran, is actually Mohammed writing it in first person (with the claim of written by the Ultimate Authority), it's all painfully obvious.
@Murri168 жыл бұрын
but the bible consistently refers to God as the father. the Quran says God is NOT the father.

Labyrinthine The Muslims do not follow the new testament. They believe Jesus was just a prophet and a good teacher. They do not follow the writings of paul and the other apostles. Muslims do follow the old testament. One of Abraham's sons, Ishmael, is the anscestor of the Muslims (somehow). So there are some similarities but Allah is very different in character than the Christian and Jewish God. Is the Jewish God the same as Christian God? That's another story. But Islam is very different from Judaism and Christianity
@b.alexanderjohnstone97742 жыл бұрын
If you are in a public place it makes a big difference. If you hear the name of the Muslim god invoked you will react differently. Jews and Christians are considered martyrs if they allow themselves to be killed for their faith, NOT when they kill others. In fact their God doesn't approve at all. No virgins for them! I presume you are just trolling and don't really believe as you claim.

good explanation. A Christian that was a Muslim. Would not need a Koran if the God was the same. Allah is not a trinity. Jesus is paying something to the father part of God. Allah is not knowable at all. God is knowable through Jesus.

Concept of God among muslims and Jews is almost same but Christians worship Jesus.
@lacklandstudios5 ай бұрын
We worship the Old Testament's God YAHWEH, who revealed himself as Jesus. Muslims believe in a different God concept called Allah, they claim the old holy books have been changed and stuff like that, you can't say they are the same Gods if those two Gods' actions contradict itself. So while we Christians accept the Old Testament and believe in the same God called YAHWEH, Muslims believe in a different concept of God with different actions called Allah, they are not the same.

Lol why would the Greatest God need to take human form which is a creation by himself, God can not be created nor he can act like human beings, I believe, if you believe that God has human form and he sacrificed to eras our sins, you can go for it but it is truly worthless a belief. God has divinity and all the greatness in the world and I really can not understand the point that this gentleman is trying to make. Edit:...And why God has to prove the reincarnation it is as it is! Reincarnation is for humans which is a creation not for a deity.
