I didn't even have to take the candy tax this year. My children are raised properly, so they each threw me some of my favorites as payment for services rendered. My daughter called my snickers the "razor checking fee". I returned it as a reward for displaying practical application of the lessons I have imparted over the last ten years. I've never been more proud. Also, I was already so full of sugar that the thought of eating another candy bar made me want to hurl.

From what I understand less than 100 reports of tainted Halloween candy have been made to police in the history of the United States. Of those less than half actually found what was reported and in EVERY case it was determined that the parent who reported it was the person who put it there. In only two cases was a child harmed and in both the parent ultimately admitted they were trying to kill their own child. Meaning that, statistically, if someone claims they found something in their kid's candy there is a 100% chance they are the person who put it there.

@@jakegarrett8109 No, it's a libertarian horror movie because the libertarian is prevented by laws to protect himself. @@valkrian0974 we basically already have it. We don't even have to leave the home and print just about anything. I hope in the future when we realize laws only prevent the law abiding from defending themselves, that we see COD Blops 2 (or it might have been MW), where they had the 3d printer for the mystery box for exo zombies. Something like that would be cool. It would resolve a lot of supply chain issues if they had one in a shop: need a 45 degree pic rail? No problem, you just need to carry raw material and you can make that, or scope mounts, or muzzle breaks for any caliber or thread type, you can make a slide or any part you need. Once the price of metal printers comes down more (just like plastic printers are between $100 and $300 depending on sales), when they drop to about $50k I can see a lot of shops opening these up (either for all those unrestricted parts like I listed, or also probably car parts, washing machine parts, just whatever people need and download it from their version of Thingiverse catalog).
