Nick indicated he favors a one-size-fits-all, nationwide abortion policy. I'm a bit surprised that he has an anti-federalist view on this issue, which strikes me as anti-libertarian. I'm also pro-choice (with limitations) but I think Roe v Wade was a gross example of judicial activism and pretzel logic constitutional reasoning. I'm against the SCOTUS taking a case from a specific state and not only ruling on that case but extending the ruling to the entire US and therefore, legislating from the bench. Abortion is a topic that is not covered in any way, shape or form by our federal constitution. Since it is a medical procedure and involves more than one party, and states differ in their democratic views on abortion, I think it is best left to the states to formulate their own abortion policies. Not only do I not think the Supreme Court should create and establish federal abortion law, I don't think Congress should either. To do so is unconstitutional, in my view.

Don’t forget, democrats have had FIVE DECADES, to codify roe v wade. Obama literally campaigned on this, as one of the MOST important things that he will do. And after he tricked people into voting for him, what did he say when he was asked when he will do this? “It’s not currently a priority”. And then they voted for him again 😂

We could talk theory for hours but in practice the tariffs are so low they aren't responsible for even 10% of the inflation. The real issue is money printing. Tariffs just a distraction.

Being FORCED to PAY a TAX on COMPENSATION for LABOR is UNCONSTITUTIONAL for most AVERAGE WORKING AMERICANS.
@jamesbizsАй бұрын
That’s what so many people don’t seem to get. It’s a tax, on labor. On literal hours of our lives. We give up hours from our lives, in return for money, that we need, in order to live in the modern world. Taxing that, is disgusting.

Trump has been clear that he's very pro IVF and will provide it at low cost. Literally has been saying it in the last few weeks on repeat. He also is making medical marijuana legal in Florida & lowering charges for personal use. He claimed it's burden on the system is wasteful & to have punitive charges for small personal use is stupid. I am not a "Trumper" but think it's interesting & hopeful that he even says these things knowing that some of his core base is probably not on board.

Before the 2016 win he said the economy was a fraud, the debt had to be fixed, budget balanced etc. He then became the biggest deficit spender in history while claiming the economy was the best ever, so what he says to win and does if he win are obviously not exactly related. He also claims to have lowered the cost of insulin despite just having papered it over with public funds 😂
@jamesbizsАй бұрын
@@identifiesas65.wheresmyche95 LOL what he says to win and what he does? Oh PLEASE. He made a lot of promises. And he either fulfilled many of them; or tried. Compared to just about anyone before him, he actually accomplished what he promised, while the rest of them never even try . Obama literally said he would codify roe v wade . And he got quite a lot of votes for that. And what did he do the second he was in power? “It’s not currently my priority”. You’re attacking trump, who had BOTH parties against him; and had people inside his cabinet, against him, after believing DC insiders .he himself, was not an insider or even a politician. So he did the best he could with what he had to work with. AND THEN COVID HAPPENED. Yeah; we had the best economy. Everything was cheaper. UNTIL COVID. You’re just delusional if you try and claim didn’t do well with the economy. And show me another president, who had the entire establishment against him, with even his own general lying to him. Show me another president; that got impeached multiple times; the second they were elected. Trumps election , and trumps presidency, was unprecedented. Even with all that, I still think he did very well. NO WARS. And he ended some. First time that’s happened in how many decades? Now imagine what he could do NOW, with everything he has learned, and all the people on his side.

Matt, the letter regarding the Hunter laptop was signed by who were at the time *former* intelligence officers. Presumably, revoking their former (at least I hope) security clearances would be moot. This distinction is important. That FB, Twitter, etc. would (do) censor based on official assessments would be (is) scandalous on its own. Imagine if media didn't constantly (even now) misrepresent this letter as if it were signed by people still holding the positions to actually know what they were talking about.
@RP-hn1qcАй бұрын
When you assume.. yeah, you know the rest of the saying 😅 Uh, clearances are like a license that expire with the expectation they will work in another job requiring clearance within a reasonable time gap. As they also say it is a revolving door of corporate corruption and government.

I think we can understand kamala's platform by looking at pop music. in the not too distant t past a lot of the pop music had the words dark horse, fire fire, etc over and over again. I believe this is because they asked an AI to make pop songs and put a lot of popular words that sound dramatic matic in it. kamalas team did something similar they said chat gPT Make me a platform that is popular with the people. This is what Chat GPT's spat out.

Repeal the 16th? Anyone?
@josephrohland5604Ай бұрын
The 16th Amendment was written to LIMIT the TAXING POWER of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. The 16th Amendment DID NOT create a new source of revenue for the Federal government. While the 16th Amendment is CONSTITUTIONAL, it binds the government from taxing AVERAGE AMERICAN WORKERS. The 16th Amendment "income'" MUST DEAL with CORPORATE INCOME. The 16th Amendment as correctly interpreted is LIMITED to INDIRECT TAXES and for that reason is constitutional. As WAGES are a person's PERSONAL PROPERTY, and the right to work and own property cannot be taxed without apportionment, the DIRECT TAX against individual wages in UNCONSTITUTIONAL. The ONLY FUNCTION of our government is the protection of life and property. No citizen working in the United States can be assessed by the IRS by LAW. if the LAW is written and the average man cannot understand it, that LAW is void for vagueness.
