Walt Destler i think it would be great to not lose money when selling... it kind of makes you feel bad when you are trying out what would fit on your ship. Please include an option to get all money back! Ty!

You can just use the unlimited money (sandbox) mode to check new things out. Save your ship design in normal game and import it in sandbox.

Lath i recommend putting your weapons in clumps near reactors. That way your little minions/crew don't have to walk as far. Yeah if the reactor goes boom a chunk of the ship explodes, but by that point you prob lost that chunk of the ship.

Absolutely Amazing. I love the variety of weapons. Every thing you destroy can tip the favor. You can select the blocks. It auto maneuvers weirdly for you and loves to shove a giant laser in your face

Your design has a flaw that will become very appearent when you face a craft with the electro bolt thing, and that is that the most important and vulnerable parts (Weapons, Reactors,Controls,FTL) are in one line. As soon as electro bolts are hitting your weapons, they're going offline leaving your ship with no offensive capabilities (except your side turrets) enabling the enemy to destroy your weapons, opening your reactor to being fired upon, which will result in an big boom. I would recommend to relocate the small blasters to the side of the ship (maybe with wings to have them forward facing), and to put armor blocks behind the Big death ray. This would require to have corridors going around the armor but this would be better than the double big boom. Shields are an interesting option to protect guns directly from enemy fire but they're extremly power hungry and are vulnerable to electrobolts. Thank you for your great videos, i'm really looking forward to the redesign of the ship.(I'm sorry if the sentences make no grammatically sense, and about spelling mistakes )

20:20 I think it is more like, if you have the money, you get the crew members doors and everything when you place it, that's why it took you 2600 money when it says bunks cost 250 each, 2x250 + 2x1000 crew members=2500, 2x200 doors and maybe it automatically sells the floor for a total cost of 2600. Also when you were placing the engines, the location of the engine greatly changed the cost, because you weren't just placing engines, but also armor(hull), doors and something else probably too.

You are able to click on your craft or the enemies craft, within your mini-map to focus your camera on it.

Blueprint mode is your friend! Also the 6 man bunks. Much more space efficient than the 2 man.

Wouldn't thrusters at the front give better turning than if they were at the back? If you put armor around the reactor does it reduce/nulify the explosion? Im pretty sure smaller steps mean slower movement due to less space drifting.
