Always loved the Reavers. They were terrifying because they didnt want to rule the world, etc, they just wanted to slaughter mutants soley out of pure hatred, just because they existed. That, as a kid always made them dangerous. Plus the beating they gave Logan, driving him closer to death than anyone at the time, along with betsy's horrible visions of what would happen if the reavers caught them, always rung out to me.

The Reavers should have remained as mutant hunters working for the White Bishop of the Hellfire Club Donald Pierce with Pierce sending them to attack the X Men following Magneto assuming control of the X-Men after the death of Professor Xavier. Donald Pierce even later transforms Mariko Oyama into the cyborg assassin Lady Deathstrike and leader of The Reavers,promising that she can kill Wolverine for revenge for her father. The Reavers later create the cybernetic creature known as Elsie Dee and her bodyguard Albert who were orignally created to destroy the X-Men with Albert being sent to infiltrate the plan fails as Elsie Dee gains sentience and turns on Pierce.

Ever since the x men animated series i thought the reavers were cool. Cyborg mercenary bad asses who hunt mutants and other beings. Its like the perfect combo for a jid in the 90s. Id watch a live action serries with them in a heartbeat, like the pack from gargoyles.

In the series where tye X Men & Reavers worked together right before they planned to go look for that list . Bonebreaker didn't have his tank bottom he had legs . The funny part Bonebreaker says right before they go on a mission with his legs says he will never go back to the Tank bottom again spoiler alert they get their butt's handed to them and then see Bonebreaker getting the tank bottom put back complaining the whole how it will slow him down again
