It's not that the glads lights are quicker... its that he keeps frame advantage after hitting you with them.

He doesn't. Light finisher on glad has frame disadvantage just like most others. the problem is that he just isn't defending at all or making use of the frame disadvantage.

@@syfonation6524 that's literally any hit. Frame advantage/ disadvantage rules in FH apply to finishers. Light finisher has frame disadvantage with a few exceptions. If you're just trying to mash out in chain that's not going to work against any character.

10:27 Yea, I feel that. It's definitely so that they can sell more Steel packs. I would be fine with it if upgrading gear (or even changing how it looks) didn't cost so much steel. At least there are free character events that reduce the price to 10k while ongoing. Still a lot, but a bit better. It sucks to have to wait for the right rotation, though.

Yea it’s fucking criminal how little steel they give, for a brand new player asking them to save 15k for a hero or even 10k while you throw them 33 steel or so a match is nuts. I’m gonna do a video tallying it all up, but my god that’s also not taking into account all the emotes, executions, armor shadings & so on

Light spam is still a problem even in high rep player matches. I'd say it has been reduced a bit but not by much. Can't wait to see more content from you bro! I'd love to see you play some Elden Ring if you like Dark Souls type games.

@@veiledxpariahhyper armour characters are great if you struggle with light attacks. Most high level players have the reaction time to parry and deflect them constantly if they know the lights are coming

Reavyne, part of the reason I quite playing For Honor was the sheer little amount of steel you earn in the game. It takes forever for you to earn enough steel to buy the hero you want. It's was either buy the steel or buy the expansion that got you those heroes

Guys, doing the daily missions (and playing active/constantly) you can make steel enough to buy the hero you want. Of course playing duels only it’s gonna take forever, but also the game it’s designed to try most of the other game modes. I suggest you finish all the daily orders and you can make around 2k-2.5k steel from daily orders only. 😊

Don't forget that Orochi has a kick now and an unblockable top heavy. Some heroes got moveset reworks. Like Shinobi for example, it's not even the same character it was 3 years ago, and not in a good way. You definitely gotta save up for Afeera and Pirate, very fun. Pirate has so many different mixups in combinations and Afeera imo is Shinobi 2.0 and very acrobatic, plus they have a cool shield throw.

Just as an FYI, and you might do this off cam or maybe on, but Dominion is still the fastest way to get steel. You get more steal per round of Dom than you do in duels, unfortunately. So if you're goal is to grind steel, then go dominion. If you preffer duels to team fights like I do, then you have to decide how best to split your desire for your fav game mode and your desire for steel. Also do the daily challenges. You can get a shit ton of steel, several hundred, if you complete them! Also nice freaking job. You came back swinging hard. This game is incredibly difficult for me these days, it's nice to see you, relatively easily, jumping back and kicking ass overall!

Pro tip for your grand return Reavyne... focus on defensive play for a while. Blocking. Parrying. The such... You would be AMAZED how many players will just give you free damage for parrying them.

His light isn't faster than your, since you've been gone, they made it so if you use a light finisher and hit the opponent the recovery is longer for you and shorter for them so you can't go right back into attacking again and have the advantage. Its the opposite for heavy finishers in the chain If you hit them with a heavy you will have advantage when attacking again.

How to game after 4 years : you see red , first thing , block. Using dodgeattack on red , bad move for start.You get used to dodge attack on red and it will get you into a lot of problems on next lvl difficulty.While the game being way faster than 4 years ago and being a turtle isnt a good choise , but stil i would recommand to react not wildly act. How to orochi after 4 years : RECOVERY, you remeber beserker from 4 years ago and his fast recovery after finisher , well now a lot of heroes have good recovery. Example after lightlight+unblockable finisher, you have instant dodgeattack , means if you let the unbloackable go and kensei goes for dodge attack, you can instant go for dodge aswell and get deflect.Also now orochi has a kick which you can use after fast recovery also to spam. Maby hard to use for now. Dont forget storm rush , you have in 3 direction, its not the same weak storm from 4 years ago, also you can cancel into gb while rushing. ! BTW when you select a hero , you can instant go into training with that hero . Just look buttom right , idk what its on controler. AND dont forget to increase PoV , you can have a better overall view. HAPPY TO SEE U BACK , mate.

yeah, farming steel is kinda hard. Duels gives so little... The best way is doing the daily missions and dominion, doing that, you can make 1 - 1.5k steel per day, so you can buy a character once in 15 days

Yeahhh majority of the reworks & new heroes since the Core Combat Update are easily used to spam (I can't necessarily call this bad, because I remember the stare-downs between old Ara & Lawbringer pre CCU). The downside is the few that haven't really been changed much are significantly suffering. Like a quiet suffering though, since few play those character/s.

Every time I play this game it feels like my light attacks take as long to come out as enemy heavies and their lights are nearly instant. Maybe there's some latency or something, since my heavies also sometimes get parried despite me feinting.

U gotta take turns, when their light chain ends, if u both spam light u will interrupt theirs, so ur basically frame positive, it's called frame advantage that may be what ur experiencing

I'll never understand how someone can get any satisfaction from pressing one button over and over again. It's a crutch lazy/pathetic people use because all they care about is winning in a video game. An actual back-and-forth fight where you and your opponent are constantly changing tactics and actually using your brain is way more fun even if you lose.

You can storm rush forward now. And unblockable second heavy which you can feint to guard break. Orochi is much stronger now compared to before. Oh and reflex guard for all assassins were removed and now it’s just like regular guard.
