Yeah I love that phrase too. Just from a visual perspective it's awesome because it's going lower in tone as he's moving up the neck so it seems counter intuitive when you see it. Most people would write that the other way around starting up the neck.

I love the harmonics on this part too! It's ringing out through the whole place! Reb is the man. You gotta love the melodic feel too with 1:25. This is why the band Winger is so good too!

I think the most impressive thing about Reb (like any of the greatest at what they do in history), he LOVES what he does and yet doesn't see it as anything that amazing... when you either are the definitive point or completely change a paradigm and yet are completely modest, that makes you nothing short of incredible! I was so excited to see that Kip Winger and Reb decided to not let their stardom go to their heads; and bring to mind quintessential ARTIST! Best wishes for continued success!

I don't think he was talking about Reb's playing as much as he was notoriety. Everyone knows who Eddie or Jimi is. He was saying it was a shame that more people didn't know who Reb is. Not to hate on Reb's former band mate but the whole Kip Winger aura kind of ruined peoples ability to appreciate Winger's music. The music to Seventeen rules but the end of the 80's was not kind to these groups. This song is amazing.
