I’m 23 years old and I just wanted to say I have been through a lot the past 5 years of my life and I have started watching your channel since the end of January and you have helped me with so much things. I lost 4 family members within a year the biggest loss was my mother who had stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer and then her parents died months later and then my grandfather on my dad’s side. Losing someone can make you stronger as a person.

Despite how painful such a thing is. It’s best to understand that you’re still alive. You being alive matters now more than ever due to now your family living on through you. There’s honour in that. Stay strong. Even if it comes down to just putting one foot in front of the other

The depth of wisdom in this video is really profound, and it’s applicable to so many things beyond just mules and horses. I believe this is how Jesus works with us.

I just had a big fight with the woman I love.. I'm 20 years old and I had a very tough upbringing.. I was looking for music to listen to and while typing in " let yourself go" for a green day song, I saw a man I'd like to have a conversation with right below so I clicked on it and it was exactly the video I needed to see so I don't hurt myself further tonight.. I can not express how grateful I am to have been spared the pain of the thoughts that would've wrecked weeks of progress .. There's probably thousands if not millions of comments like this.. But I thought I'd express my gratefulness regardless of that.. The way you present certain problems for people is so logical yet very much explained as a person who just knows better if you care to listen and implement the words to your situation.. I would not have made it through tonight without being more angry at myself and hurting myself , if I didn't hear what I heard from you.. Thank you ,from the bottom of my heart . Thank you for caring about other human beings so much, Dewayne!

Good video Dwayne. I had a mule i raised from birth. Loved her bery much. Miss my old girl. She passed at 25 about 6 yrs ago. Theres just something about mules. No 2 are the same but when you love em you sure miss having them around. I miss my horse too, she died unexpectedly and now i have none in 62 years. What a life changing event for me. Will be hard to find good ones like i had. Love your videos regardless of the topic. You & Momma are just good people. Prayers for your son's safety in the service.

An equine reflects the demeanor of it's leader. True with business, Churches, homes, whatever. If the leadership is uptight and negative the whole outfit will be. It's the same thing with helpful, energetic, peaceful leadership. I believe you're right, it was Ray Hunt that said a mule forces you to treat it the way you SHOULD treat a horse.

I know you're a Christian man Dewayne, but this beautiful video, reminded me of what the Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh said about peace : Peace in the world starts with peace in oneself. If everyone lives mindfully, everyone will be more healthy, feel more fulfilled in their daily lives and there will be more peace. AND so now I'm reminded, it applies to animals as well.
@TruthSeeker-rn1tm9 ай бұрын
You're right buddy, when people err against you, only focus on improving yourself, as the only way to overcome the wrongs in this world is to focus harder on improving oneself. Through our own personal discipline, may we show others. God bless.

When I was in Jr.High, I worked on a local horse farm mucking stalls. I couldn’t believe how stupid those Thoroughbred horses were compared to the cattle I showed. They were scared of everything. Looking back they were just paying attention and probably not used to someone who didn’t tiptoe around them. I always learn something watching your videos. We are a similar age and mindset. I’m at the point where I’m happy to listen to what someone else has to say, especially if it saves me work or bruises.

That’s a fantastic point when you say the horse is the mirror. A mirror of who you are is not the mirror on the wall. It’s not the one you talk to. It’s all around you in the way you live your life. Unless you’re a super spy then all bets are off lol.

My theory is a lot like you say but more. I don't care if it is a horse, a mule or a goldfish. I train the mind because the mind controls the whole body in ALL animals. Warwick is a good bloke.Several good horsemen have said similar things, people don't have horse problems, horses have people problems. Being a better person is the key to being a better horseman.
