I notice there are hardly any comments on this one. I guess truth isn’t very popular. But that makes me like you even more Reba…I’m so thankful you were brave enough to sing this. And to the comment above- (the person who says the world belongs to God and we don’t need to beg and scream)- well, there’s a balance to truth that means both your view and the truth shared in this song are real. Cause although God is ultimately sovereign, the entire creation still groans and waits for redemption and we are called to intercede. The world sits under the Prince of the air at this time, and there’s enough evil that we ought to be crying out. Sovereignty doesn’t take away responsibility. God partners with us humans, and looks to see who intercedes. This song is true and it is beautiful.

Relax, you're splitting hairs here. There is a place for crying out to Jesus sometimes, especially for those who have drifted away or are in a great crisis! You need to read Revelation 3:15-19 again. When the Lord brings those who apathetically profess to follow Christ to the realization that they are wretched, miserable, poor and blind, then the Holy Spirit will dramatically move them to "BE ZEALOUS AND REPENT!" (Rev-3:19). There is nothing wrong with Reba's lyrics (or video) and we should be glad and thankful that someone in her position is humbly doing this instead of taking the easy, self-indulgent road!
