Thank you for this biblical insight. Long commitment ahead. This will be a hard comment for me to make. 🙃 I was born & Raised Southern Baptist, & willingly chose to Follow Jesus at 8 Years old, since then I spent 30 years wandering in Circles through the desert of this sinful world, doing my own will, and attempting to Follow my own heart, & my own dreams as a Disney TV Baby, born & Raised on Jesuit theater philosophy of the Beast. Sex, Drugs, Rock n Roll, and eventually, the end all destructive force of Alcohol. So to wake me up, & to bring me back, God Allowed Tribulation to take away my 14 year Old Son & Wife, Car, Home, Business, Personal Possessions, & my Entire Life, to bring me back to the LIFE, The TRUTH, & The WORD, that I Originally Vowed to Follow, Even though I was Raised in Southern Cat-holic Baptist of the Billy's Catholic Crusade Ecumenical, Say a single prayer, Once Saved Always Saved, Religion of the UNholy Days of The Mother Roman Beast, & that wouldn't do anymore. So He Started to Lead me To The TRUTH through personal research on the religions of the world, starting with my wife's family's Masonic Religion. Through that searching for Truth, God Lead me To Walter Veith, and the Truth that He Preached. I spent 2 years digging, Learning, Reading, Watching, & Soaking up every morsel of Truth that I could find, but then one day in deep depression I crossed the line, driving myself mad to brain gravy in Satan's twisted deception of information, and in a depressed state one night, I took my life, on uppers, Downers, & Alcohol, But GOD Didn't let me die. He allowed me to wake up, 2 days later, with my life, but absent of the memories of the 2 years of research that I had previously done, from the chemical amnesia that It had personally brought on. A Friend recommend outside help, so I started AA, & that lead to CR, or should I say, Cat-holic Recovery. But after about a year, my memories started to slowly return, and I found myself in a Catholic Church, one of the Only 2 in the USA with a CR Recovery Program. The Other in PA. And As my memories returned I became a hard core protestant, as I could clearly see that the TRUTH of the WORD had been wipped away, and in the course of that experience,... I met my N/A. The New Love of my Life! After 6 years being without my son & my original, now x wife. Her two sons became like my own, even as the Entire family was cradle Cat-holic raised & born until the day Hell froze over as they would say. Now realizing that I had committed to a faithful commitment before my God with a Woman from the other side, and not just from the Dark side of the Catholic occultic world, but a virtual Nun, second in Command to the Alterchristus himself Catholic. So in my 2 year attempt to convey the TRUTH of the WORD to my new Family, God once Again removed everything in my life, including my new sons, and my new, "in the eyes of God, but Not Man," Wife. She broke up with me by having me arrested by the new Roman soldiers for preaching the TRUTH on her property. Trespassing at the house, that she had made my home for the past 2 years was the charge they gave me, and after a month in jail, I started preaching the TRUTH of the WORD FULL TIME. But now, accepting Walter as my personal pastor, on the other side of the world, and, I needed to find a bride family. So I came out of her!!!, the religion I was born into, but couldn't find a "church," that believed the things my mentor taught me. All the Local SDA churches that I tried to join, we're Ecumenically in bed with mother rome. All of them in my area. Accepting all gods as true, even Baal, when you questioned and debated the religious Hierarchy of the SDA elders, and finally God showed me that to come out of her, meant, ALL of the Religions of man, for they all were part of the 501c Non profit Corporations, and Demonnations of the Mother Roman beast, and come out of her meant, COME OUT OF HER. ALL of the Apostate Laodicean blasphemous Grey, Luke Warm religious "churches," tradition's, & Religion's of man, turning to a Relationship with the TRUTH, the True One & Only God, the Real Jesus Christ The WORD. And even though I have not yet found others that follow the same God that I do locally, I know they exist, through my access to the world wide web, 🕸, net, that I can still reach people for His Glory as the Protest Ant. But that still leaves me without fellow believers, the gathering of the True bride, to Re-Baptize me, as I now Desire to be. Thank you for sharing, and listening to me. WORD UP ☝📖🌱 PTL. 💜🐜D.

Rebaptism is only a biblical concept when referring to John's baptism vs. Christ's baptism. I've lived through the mess and confusion of being told I needed rebaptism as a believer because the 1st one (my infant baptism) and the 2nd one (my adult baptism when I made a profession of faith) either didn't count or was done improperly. As an adult, I was single immersed, but then tried to join a church requiring triple immersion for membership. I refused rebaptism on the grounds that baptism symbolizes that which can only occur once in a believer's life and shouldn't be repeated, just like Christ cannot be re-crucified. They insisted that the scriptures taught baptism by triple immersion. Sadly, in good conscience I decided to leave that church so that I could become a member elsewhere where I would be fully received as a brother in the Lord and exercise my gifts to the body of Christ.

Dear friend, Baptism is a mindful acceptance of who our Savior Jesus is and what he has done. And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. [Act 8:34-38 KJV] Let us trust a loving Creator to take care of your child without performing an act that might be terrifying to him. Baptism is personal choice, a symbol and not a means of gaining acceptance. Consider reading scripture to your son as I don't believe we know what he might understand or the true power of the spoken word. I don't think anyone these days is being baptized into John's baptism. Someone coming into the truth of Yeshua's sacrifice from a background of a denomination, cult or ism's doctrine and then coming to truth in Messiah should be immersed with full understanding of the death, burial and resurrection of the Savior as a symbol not as a sacrament. This act of faith and profession would be a denying of a 'false baptism', such as child sprinkling, act of cleansing, imparting of grace and all errant teachings attached to such an activity. "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

"Elder" is not a title. There are no titles in the New Testament. Shame on you for aggrandizing yourself.
