It wasn't tories who were discussing it. It was Labour. Tory MP opposed the discussion saying "how would you feel if India starts discussing our internal matter?" Most of the labour MPs get elected with Muslim votes. So they sham India to earn some browny points with them.

That's crazy that the British citizens are not aware of what happens in their parliament. I guess that shows their lack of awareness. But anyway, these things don't bother the Indian government because India has taken over Britain in many aspects. On a side note, India is competing with the superpowers of the world like the USA and China and Britain is nowhere in that list.

Bcoz British parliament has Indians & Pakistanis. Today Britain is getting taste of it's own medicine (East India company). Back in 2017 David Cameron had to recall parliament coz Tata was shutting down its Newport steel plant in UK. Tata is the biggest Industrial employer in UK. What the news lady is referring to is not the votes of Native British People, like you for example. She is referring to the British Indian Khalistani people who have UK citizenship now. The one's that bring up these discussions are mainly the one's belonging to the Labour party. I don't know about the ground reality, but the votes thing might be real. Because, Indians are a significant ethnic minority in the UK. So, it makes sense to talk about those issues. On the other hand... There are people with varying views in every country, so it's pretty normal to find people who might have completely opposite views, some even radical. Hence, the less we talk about what we think, the better. Haha... Though I suggest to share openly, I also advise to be vary of the "others"

They are not discussing it for your vote, they are discussing to appease pakistani diaspora votes in their constituency. check the voter demography of each of those MP who spoke against india, you will find that Pakistani diaspora is the margin which ensures their victory in their constituency, and pakistani diaspora is an extention of ISI (Pak Intelligence agency) when it comes to india related matters.
