Real Kukiyay it would be faster but they try to do a few episodes at a time. One might be in the scripting phase, while another might almost be done with animation, while another could be starting the voice acting.

A lot of cartoon networks cartoons are animated in Korea cause they're pretty fast despite feeling like a long time to the fans. It's still very impressive, they work on the storyboards @ CN and send the story boards off to Korea because it's a lot cheaper to pay the animators

I was flabbergasted by how natural Steven came out of her pen at the beginning of the video. All the characters, actually; it's amazing. It's almost as if they were there all along, and she has a magic pen that can make them visible to us.. she's not drawing them. They exist. They _are_ real and they _are_ alive even before she gets her pen in her hand. She just makes them real to us.

I just realized something, Rebecca Sugar is my idol! I've never had an idol before! Her words here are inspiring. She honestly impresses me so much as a person, she has my dream job, she created the best show ever and she animates it and writes the songs... Honestly what CAN'T she do? Steven Universe is her own concept and creation, she doesn't need references or proportions, she can do it all from memory. If you had to draw the same characters on a daily basis for three years straight, you'd probably be able to do it from perfection too.

She can do that because she's not creating them, but she's just showing them to us. Asking her to draw Steven is like asking anyone else to wave, because she's so much used to this that the characters don't feel like characters anymore but like real people. Many many artists still use circles and sketches after a long time, that's fine too :)

I really enjoy seeing Rebecca's approach to her drawing. I really like how she scraps what she doesn't like and keeps trying until she gets the right feel. It helps remind me that even the professionals make mistakes and have to start over, and that not everything one draws has to be this perfect masterpiece.

It probably came down to which the team thought looked best some characters need darker or more saturated skin and some need it with their hair or something else with amethyst I was likely they wanted a lighter hair tone because with the large mass of hair it looks better with a lighter color around her than a lighter one that makes sense probably

When I was suffering in hospital because of a car accident when I was 10 years old my mother asked me this weird question "If the doctor told you that you will die near 2 months, what would you do?" and I said "First, I don't wanna die and second...I WOULD WANNA MEET REBECCA SUGAR" and I said this with some tears in my eyes and she said "First, who is Rebecca Sugar and second, I think this will be impossible" I said "Get out of the room please I need to scream on myself" and then she laughed and left the hospital room and I insulted myself idk why ._. i'm so stupid well at least my dream of the moment is to meet Rebecca Sugar IRL and show her my fanarts I did on my phone like really I talk about this to my father and he is like "Oh don't worry, i'm sure this will happened in the future" and I was always doing a sad little face and next I go hug my dog I GUESS THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT PLACE TO TELL MY BORING STORIES xDDDD but anyways watching Rebecca drawing is...relaxing :

I haven't watched the whole video yet, but she's using a Mac, though I use the same software and the same Pen Display on my Windows 10 PC. The monitor she's drawing on is a Wacom Cintiq 27-qhd (might be a slightly different model number, because hers looks a little older than the ones they're selling now): www.wacom.com/en-us/products/pen-displays/cintiq-27-qhd-touch. Also, it may or may not be the touch version, I haven't seen any part where she touches the screen. and Foxy the Pirate is correct about it being Photoshop.
