girl i love stamping with the oxide inks. they are the only ink i have the best luck with almost every time. they are the only inks i own the entire line in full size, they are so versatile. with ink blending, stamping, painting, etc. i think they are the bestest ever, and i am soooo happy they are doing new colors!

I didn't put anything behind the window. You could put your message there and have it peeking through or if you prefer to leave it clean you could put the message on the back of the card.

Fun ideas! A question: on the acetate card, how can we keep the sentiment on the inside of the card from showing through? The card is beautiful and I want to do this, but won't the inside show through, thus, ruining the look on the outside? Thanks for your help.

For this type of card, I would just write a quick line at the top and bottom (hidden behind the border) so that the window remains clear. I especially don't want to see MY handwriting from the outside because it is a mess lol!

Beautiful cards! Do you heat emboss vellum on the front side or back side? When I do it, it warps.

I usually emboss vellum on the front just like I would on cardstock. The tips to embossing vellum are, 1. make sure you're using a heavy weight vellum, 2. really heat allow your heat tool to heat up before you start using it, the longer it heats up the more quickly it will melt the embossing powder and the less chance it will warp, 3. bring the heat tool to the vellum in short bursts rather than just hold it over top until the powder melts. Hope that helps!

Just rewatched this after having finally bought one jar of Nuvo Moonstone glimmer paste. I was wondering about mixing a little metallic embossing powder into glimmer paste to make new colors. Have you tried that?
