OMG THANK YOU! (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞ Some people on videos like these keep being really prickly and fight over which of them “is better“ but in reality they both are just crazily amazing in their own way! Vitas made the song and he performs it, like he is telling us a story. And the melodys he came up with as well as the rather serious atmosphere he creates are just so astounding. Dimash takes the song and modifys it so that it matches his own unique style. He subtly ads his own little details and performs it in a mischievious kind of way, a different atmosphere. So like I said, both versions are astonishing and both singers are very talanted and matchless ♡ It’s as if you’d try to compare raspberry ice cream with blueberry ice cream: Both are the same product but they differ in flavor. ( ´ ▽ ` )
@totchi63 жыл бұрын
I love the Vitas version more partially because this was originally a very "Russian" flavored song, if that makes sense? Interestingly, though Dimash adds a different flair culturally (and I can listen to that all day too), there ARE parts he totally adds a DIFFERENT flavor of Russian flair that's gorgeous too...but it's very...modern in a way the Vitas version is not. It takes something away a little bit.

Sorry for my late reaction, but for me as a normal unformed human, which meets Dimash in space last week the first time of his life - there is so much time left try to understand "what that is, what traits me so hard when he begins to sing." And so I follow his online presence and the reaction to his - for me unbelievable performances. And your reactions are one of the oldest, of the first to his unbelievable skills. So I think, that what you say about his skills and what is so unbeatable extraordinary when he sing is poor and not just something, what other vocal coachs says about him - there are thousands of videos in timeline behind you. But follow your first redactions, try to understand your thoughts about his performance long before the others...helps me to understand why he "hit me so hard" when I hear him last week first time. He is extraordinary - one in a million - who is able with God gives and training be possible to sing in this way. Thank you very much for your reactions here and your help for me as a layman, to understand why it is so unbelievable to hear him. Thanks for your help...

Thank you so much rebecca!! I love your message at the end!! 🤗😘😘 It's the matter of PREFERENCE and it is NOT right to bash another artist just because you love another one! If only fans of different artists could respect each other, the world would be a better place!! Yes, opinion is not a fact! For example, ordinary people saying that someone has a bad technique - it's an OPINION. LOTS of vocal coaches agree on the same thing that someone has a great technique - that's a FACT! 😉 Support your favourite artist without bashing other artist, that's the correct thing to do! Give respect if you want to be respected! 🙄 Dimash doesn't deserve the hate, he is such a nice, kind, humble artist who always respects his seniors! I always feel so sad whenever the haters attack him, just because they love another 😔 what does he personally do to you? He doesn't deserve the name calling and all the bad comments you spit on him! Rebecca thank you for your reaction to artist in general. I like the way you explain the technical aspects of artist and their craft, but more importantly the emotional connection you make with their performances. I really think that's what really matters with any artist and their performance, I feel like that is what an artist strives for a to make a connection in some way or all ways with their audience. That's what keeps fans wanting more. I believe Dimash delivers every time in that regard. He seems like an very honorable person when he stepped away from "Worlds best" competition. I believe the judges misunderstood the reason he stepped away from the competition. I believe he felt he would have won, so he left so that the children competing would have better shot at winning the competition not that he was afraid to compete against them. So i think you right at the end of the day the only think that matters can you make a connection with the artist, did they stir emotion. did they inspire you in some way, and finally did they some how impact your life in a way even for a moment to say hey i can relate to that, or hey that's they way i feel and someone understands. Sorry for the ramble i'm very passionate about art as well primarily music. Again thank you Rebecca

Hello, Rebecca! It's been more than a minute since you last reacted to Dimash, and I've missed it. This is my favourite Vitas song and I love both versions equally but I have to admit Dimash has a crazy amount of vocal range!!!

As I understand, Rebecca has already seen all these Dimash performances long time ago, and now she's making "second" reactions. Anyway, it's not only the reaction but also a professional analysis by a vocal coach, and it's absolutely great!

Wow, never heard this version before. He sounds less strained than Vitas though he's going even higher...it's incredible.

Hi dear if interested today is DIMASH 2d concerts. Yesterday's wose a stound enovation. He sang 4 new songs written by his composers that gave me goospams. People didn't want to live. And Dimash love for his audience was immense he made kids , young and spesificly olderly hapyy. At the end he went off the stage and interacted with them. You could see the elderly revive . He is pure love. Im trying to get to his Arnau concert. If not will wait till he comes to Canada. There wore people from about 125 Countries 600 from China. It was adorable to hear them screem DIMASHY. He will colaborate with Laura Fabian, Andrea Bocheli. We are so happy for him. U can tell how happy he is getting back to his comfort zone after the worlds best that wose killing his soul. The second concert will start soon.

I had an argument with my maths teacher and got really angry and I punched the wall a couple of times. It's put me in a really bad mood and I'm still angry at him. Love you xx

So glad you said 'I'm not Dimash'. I watch so many vocal coaches who think because they are vocal coaches they can reproduce - or have a modicum of talent. I love the technical understanding and learning but hate when they somehow think they can do it too. Singing a note and singing well are 2 different things.

Your reactions always amaze me. You are so talented in your knowledge and Damash is a wonderful singer. No that being said I would like to say you are a very very beautiful woman. Keep up the reactions.

E- Rock is just jealous. Keep singing along here and there. I studied with one of the greatest voice teachers of the 20th century. I know u can deliver those notes. I wish he could hear Dimash! The Vita's u reacted to was lip synced though he can definitely deliver that song! I'm not saying who did "Opera 2" better but overall as a phenomenon Dimash is in a category of his own...and that is good! He is leading the way to the next level of good music. Us Dimash fans have a tough job and that is to keep the global greedy music machine from digging their grimy claws into Dimash. Think of all the super talents destroyed by The Machine! Breath control, ability to hold breath long for dramatic phrasing. Can be powerful, tender and everywhere in between. Whatever the song lyrics and emotion need. Makes it look effortless/seamless between ranges while keeping the emotion. He becomes the song. He has perfect pitch. Singable/deliverable/usable range into the stratosphere. Wonderful vibrato. Riffs, trills and runs. Flawlessly combines operatic, rock and pop singing. Whistle register (and even DOG whistle register!) as good as the best. One of the best, if not the best, with using the microphone to deliver his instrument. Uses his voice as an instrument like non-vocal instruments. And he's only 24!!! Comes from a good family. Comes across as a nice humble guy, is 6' 3" and is athletic. Moves well on stage, writes songs, plays the piano and other instruments. He's even fashionable! And he loves and appreciates his fans in a very genuine way. I had to get this off my chest...voice. Peace, JK
