For me all the chart pop music Is annoying. Not because I think I'm better than anyone, just because pop is 99% repetitive. Today we have so small chances to listen good music from pop radios or TV charts. When I was a kid in Italy there was more space for different bands and different kind of music. I miss that music approach. Anyway thank you Becca for your videos, I always appreciate you. Ciao

In 1987 one evening I waited for the "hit parade" on a italian national channel to listen to "Where the streets have no name" by U2. At the same time on the next TV channel there was The Bangles with "Walk like an egyptian". Both songs were amazing for me ( well, at the time I preferred the U2 song , but the Bangles were so cute, especially the singer) so I started to jump up and down with the remote trying to catch the best from both songs. At the end I was happy but a little angry because I had listened 2 cool songs , but no one entire. So I decided to record with some cassettes (tapes) the radio stations, creating bizzarre compilations of everything. Maybe someone might says that those years were so "plastic-fashion-fake music" but today, after 30 years I can surely say that they were amazing. Everything was so creative, coloured, innovative. In '80s you could find so different genres at the same time, rock, rap, funk, dance in the same chart. And often some new amazing bands with his own unique style. I think about Depeche mode, Duran duran, U2, Europe, Queen, Bon Jovi, Dire Straits , Aerosmith. So you can understand how much this was amazing, those bands togheter, at the same time , in the same chart. I don't want to say that today's music is all annoying, I only want to say that the level has dropped, everything sounds as it has already been heard. And also the music productions are so poor, so loud , so inconsistent. Or maybe I am becoming old. Sorry If I wrote something wrong. Ciao a tutti , specialmente a Rebecca che è stupenda !

Heyyyyy!!! "The Surfin' Bird" ("Bird is the word") song by the Trashmen is awesome! Listen to the whole thing and see if you can sing ALL the parts of the song (to see you DANCE to it would be hilarious) :D What about Ren & Stimpy "Happy Joy Joy"? And remember . . . They list these 30 errant tunes but ignore the regular use of speeded-up vocals and repetative hooks in much of contemporary "pop". I think Teletubbies only won because some people heard it too much. It was a "Banjolale" that George Formby sometimes played in the 30s & 40s. An evil hybrid of a Banjo & Ukalale. Not only is "When I'm cleaning windows" about being a peeping Tom but it is also rather repetative. #keepinreachofthetuningdial

Of course the bloomin Crazy Frog had HAD to be in it! My Little Bro & Little Sister still have the plush toys of Crazy Frog & we still have the magnet on our Mums & Dads fridge too. :) I am surprised that "I Want To Be A Hippy And I Want To Get Stoned" Song wasn't on here actually! My Dad & Mum would go up the walls every time my Eldest Brother & Eldest Sister would put that on. You should do reaction video to the new Mr Bungle single, Raping Your Mind, featuring Mike Patton who you're reacted to before. It's something brand new to everyone, well produced and executed, and just in time for Halloween. Edit: It is extreme in it's vocal style, but may be the best death metal/thrash metal vocals will ever get. If you want to see Patton give a really intense performance that's not death metal, check out Tomahawk 'God Hates a Coward' live. He starts at a 10 and finishes around a 12, and does some really interesting things with different microphones.

Btw Rebecca black is a great artist now! I mean she was 13 at the time of Friday and it was done by a terrible production company. Parents pay for their kid to get a chance to record a song and do a video and they write the song ... the worst song ever.. and of course she was a bit nasal being 13 and untrained in vocals. But she really wanted to do music and just kept working hard for it. I actually saw her live last summer and it was really fun.
