Being with my ex narc for the past 6 yrs. made me observe this very pattern. I think they wanted to feel very important in a way that is disturbing. Instead of building trust with their intimate partners, they destroy the trust that they built with you (in that case lying when they tried to put you in their pedestal). Once they have a committed partner, they can’t stand being loved authentically by one person. Instead they go on and prey on other women that is susceptible to their love bombing. My ex narc was a compulsive pursuer in a relationship. He would go back and forth to the women he were involved before or try to meet women in complicated situation so that going public isn’t an option while having you as their main supply. In the end they destroy the very person that loved them. They are like toddlers testing your love for them. Showing and telling them you love them isn’t enough, they will cheat on your face to make you feel inadequate even if you are more than they deserve. They want to test your love for them so they keep hurting you and when you have enough of their abuse, you leave. Then they tell you, ‘you never loved me because you abandon me’. Well in fact it’s their actions and narcissistic behavior that made you leave or in other cases they discard you and will give silly reasons of the discard. Mine would use, ‘she’s crazy’, ‘she’s a nega-star’, ‘she insults me’, ‘she cheated on me’ et al. So with this pattern of infidelities and emotional abuse (who knows what else) it’s better to walk away. I did walk away and is now rebuilding my life with our daughter. We are struggling financially because I’m not earning enough to provide for my daughter but now we get to laugh and bring with us sunshine every day. No lies, no abuse and no fake love. We only live once, forgive yourself and move forward but never forget the lesson that narc abuse taught you. That is to respect yourself to walk away from what’s hurting and destroying you. That you deserve a life of solitude, happiness and love. Hugs*** :) Additionally I hired a private detective Metaspyhub@gmail. com. Once I knew what the narc was up to, it got easier to get over that lying, cheating, sack of doo doo, loser. I didn’t need closure from the narc, I paid for it. Best money I EVER spent!

I am very happy for you escaping and gathering yourself to leave. I wish you and your child peace healing and happiness. I left my ex abusive narcissist 8 years ago. After 16 yrs . It was a grieving and rebuilding process. My child & I were better off without the chaos, disregard & dysfunction he brought. It is harder on some days than others. I promise you did the best you could do. Ultimately leaving. Never look back. They don't change & are severely humanely bankrupt in their relationships. This chanel on yt is excellent to guide through dealing with Narcissists. Also Dr. RAMANI & Dr. Carter. All of them helped me heal & grasp reality of what is the monster that unmasked himself. I am grateful to them. Don't blame yourself or think you could've gotten better outcome. Get strong stray & no contact . Your lives will improve with peace& love.

Identifying my own weaknesses and triggers that the narc targets has been essential! Now when the narc goes after that area, I’m able to catch it and laugh in my head at the attempt, maintaining confidence. It is baffling to the narc AND allows me to grow in that area of weakness!! My situation has been very tough . My son died in a tragic accident 4 years ago. Leaving my daughter in law and baby grandson to live with us. My daughter in law has managed to manipulate me into raising her son this whole time . Besides making our home a war zone. She is always causing problems for everyone. Sh has never taken any wise advice because she thinks she already knows everything. Our family is just about to be freed. From her web. We started charging a small amount of rent and now she is leaving to another free source. Thank you for all the help. In my heart I knew something was very wrong but I needed the knowledge behind it. They lie about everything all the time but can’t hold track on their lies so it’s easy to trick them with the same question over and over again you get two hundred different answers on the same question . Best if you already know the truth then u stay confident . I have a 5 minute long conversation with my narc ex fiancé after he hit me quite bad . I would like to show it ( no faces are showing ) but it is in Swedish . I think a lot of woman would have reqonize themselves listen to that .

To make long story short - just behave like them. Be like their mirror. Narcissists are used to cheat normal people and they expect you not to lie and behave properly, so just mess them up by behaving like them because they are not expecting to have someone like them on another side.

My boyfriend is a narcissist and so is his mother. I invited him in my place to live from his mother's basement. Paid/Helpped him get his own stuff throughout life, build his credit, etc. Now usually I'm not one to make that known to the WORLD, because I did it because I love him, not to put it in his face or brag about it. I've just always liked helping people regardless, and that's what you do for people you love when they may need a little help. Anyways, I found out he was a narcissist way way way later, as in we have 2 kids and/are living together. My own mother is a narcissist on the higher spectrum also, but to say that I had a not so good childhood or even in my adolescence (pretty much until I was moved out on my own), is an understatement. Anyway, this man is the first I've ever let all the way in my life... put him on the lease, insurance, let him take care of me, everything but marriage. What felt about almost 60 years, but was really almost 30 years... well I thought I could take a break from working a lot and then eventually a full break for a year or two. It took me years to build confidence growing up and he was able to smash it back down quicker than ever. I did end up working again, then eventually worked more and more. Of course I have horrible luck, after almost 5 years of really having that goal and the fact that it took that long, (didn't even see it coming) but I just get fired and things got bad again. He got really sick though shortly after that happened and he stayed at his parents for a 30-35 days to get better. There really wasn't a way for him to do it at home because it would've of been to dangerous for the children. But now I'm barely staying afloat and pretty much about to lose our home, but for at least a few months I somehow figured out a way to keep it. If I would've got a job, his mother said that it had to wait until he was better because she can't watch the kids and take care of him. I thought, well I'll get daycare, then she said that if anyone else watches the kids then she'll never babysit again. Yeah, I know that I shouldn't have listened, but I did. He returned home and then almost a month later we had to move in with them because he wasn't looking for work and I was taking care of the kids and communicating wasn't going very well, so we lost the house. I dropped him and the kids off at the g-parents house (one bedroom, to small for us to even be living there, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do when times get tuff). I decided to stay one extra night in the house to do the last little bit. He said I love you on the night before going to bed, his parents packed up the entire house (literally everything, which last I knew, he didn't own every entire thing in that house), had my kids there their already. Next day comes and his mother comes in and out of no where, which was never brought up, tells me I "NEED" to hand over my kids important paperwork info, names off birth certificates, etc. I need to give her his car keys, which she wanted to make sure I knew she helped on a couple payments. But, umm 🤔... I helped pay for it too, amongst other things. The registration was in his name though, so I knew I was gonna be dropping that off. Proceeds to tell me that I'm not welcome there. I had no family in town, they knew I had no where to go, but they had the boys so they didn't care, idk. I called up my 10 year boyfriend and ask him what's going on, he doesn't even take a breathe and just says something about how I "should've listened" to her or him, I can't remember which one, probably both, he doesn't sound confused, so how far out was this planned🤔, I still don't know. Luckily, the Landlord let me stay in that empty house for almost 2 weeks and then all the sudden there was a "change of heart", which the mother made and my boyfriend found out after she left us to "talk". It got bad, her & I got into big fights, even his father called me every worse name in the book, they've all told me that everyone would be better off if I were dead. They had a crazy yell, not just regular "talking loud people" and they treated me like this in front of the kids, especially the youngest, which they would get in his face, he's a tiny lil guy, he's not 3 but he's the size of one. Luckily, they weren't physical with my children or I would've died by sticking up for them. His mom would get mad at her son's actions all the time, but it was always my fault, I was the reason. I luckily got out of there almost a year ago. But everything I had was there. One fight was so bad that we went to stay at a hotel and I called the cops cuz she wouldn't let me get any of my stuff, she just acted like she wasn't home and the cops wouldn't do anything. As soon as the cops left, she had the nerve to message me and say "you couldn't get your s#*t, haha". Anyway, when I moved, I wanted to make sure I was able to at least get my kids stuff, cuz they would've used that against me later. I went to places for help first before ending up going to hotels on multiple occasions, not one place would help, homeless shelter, etc. I even showed up with my kids to the homeless shelter and they turned us away. I really felt helpless. Where was I... oh, I got a place. But I let the children still see her, cuz I feel like the children will be effected by it, idk. My kids are both on the autism spectrum, they know them. I have lived like an orphan, never had someone to call g-ma or g-pa, I might call my mom up, but she didn't care when i needed help and her house was big, it was a couple hours away, but I would love a start in a new town. I obviously knew though that my mom does NOT care for me, I went over 7 years w/o calling and she did not care or try... I know not many are going to read this long long message, but I was hoping to get at least one or 2 people to give a lil advice or hear their opinions/suggestions... is it wrong of me to not let them see them at all or just only very limited times a month? But I didn't have these kids with her, so I also feel that after a decade together, kicking me to the curb out of no where and him putting me through the same mental torture, which has slowed down, but would any other girl forgive their man for packing up the entire house, pretending like it WASN'T planned, also allowed their parents to make you feel like you don't matter to no one, giving you no reassurance... ??? Well, he says he picks me, but I don't think I'm ever gonna heal right if I continue to just hear her on the phone with someone else. Am I dumb for forgiving him? (I will say, he's NOT all the way back in again, but still, I don't want to waste my time, I can be depressed by myself.) Please, whoever does say anything back, remember that I am in a very sensitive person as is and I'm definitely in a sensitive mental state too, still healing from the trauma in that house. I'm not saying you can't be 110% honest, just be kind please and maybe offer some suggestions on how I can accomplish some things I REALLY need that I know he'll take if we're not together. A vehicle, washer & dryer... those are the main things lol, but they're important. I don't make money the way I used to. Please no one laugh, and I'm not saying that I'm trying to get those and then I'm leaving him, that's not my goal, but after all he's put me through, I just thought it'd be better to be safe than sorry. Also, is it wrong of me to make him pick between his parents or me? Or at least slow the communication down by A LOT? IDK. Just wanted someone's opinion, I feel completely lost. **** last thing... HE'S ALSO AN ONLY CHILD****

I see so much more now. How do you know so much about this? I’ve felt exactly what you discuss in your videos. I don’t understand why it is that, having reasoned out these facts about the narcissist in my life, I can’t simply walk away? I’m overwhelmed

So true. Even my psychotherapist said "why can he behave like he wants and you still try to be morally correct? Fight back, you doesn't hurt the wrong person as long as you direct your anger towards the person who deserves it, it's healthy and you stop being the victim to him, they love easy victims but don't like people who are inconvenient.. ". Just don't do anything stupid you later regret.

After 60 years of having a narcissistic sister, I watched your videos and suddenly realised that is what she is, to a T. I was beaten, asked for loans and drive her five children and their children away. She's only capable of 'using' one member of the family in her life. I walked away from her four years ago after paying for eight family members to holiday in Wales, the other side of England. They all decided to take several of their children without a thought of the cost to me. My sister got very drunk and I started putting my a few bits in my car to leave the next day. When I tried to get back into the villa, she had locked up and told everyone NOT to let me in. My dog and I slept in my car in freezing temperatures. In the morning, they had left without me and my belongings. After eight hours trying to get home, I was so stressed and emotionally drained. It's been four years but she on the odd occasion, she will try and contact me via message. Last week, she got 'shot' all BS. Today, I received a text 'I know you hate me but would you do me one favour?' So hard to ignore but I've promised myself I will not respond. Because of that text, I've locked my door and it will stay locked. She has made me imprison myself and my little dog. Never let that happen to you, they will destroy your life as she has mine. I was 65 when she beat me, while drunk and no family members came to my aid.

The girl I've been best friends with for 20 years always made me feel special that we have such a close relationship and talk about our deepest emotions and feelings. But then after I didn't talk to her for six months after she went into an alcoholic stupor I realized she craved and needed the connection of being a confidant. When I talked to her again she assumed I lost my ability to have a connection with any human being, instead of reflecting on what she did to push me away.

I told my mom I would pray for her and she told me to never discuss the bible with her again, I haven’t heard from her in days, lol😂she has always told everyone all her life what a good Christian women she is! It’s definitely crazy making. She is always telling absurd stories about me to everyone we know in common.

Thank you Rebecca. Discovered last Sunday, that my mom is a narcissistic person. It was a shock, because I searched for a long time for an explanation of her behavior. Now, me and Dad will set up a strategy. I got 28 on 14.02 and actually I can help him how to live with her until my sister moves out. Myself, I live in my own apartment fortunately. Thank you very much... Greetings from Germany. Sonny 😊
