Other weak spots: They can't stand to be alone for a lengthy time. They are perfectionists toward others, which can make their fly monkeys bail on them. They assume nobody's going to do their due diligence on them. The only tool they have for covering their tracks is smoke and mirrors. In a court setting, they let their track records become public records. They are insecure about their appearance, and come up with phony looks to hide their imperfections. Their smiles rarely look genuine if you look closely at them in photos; there's a certain stiffness to them. They let their mistreatment of others get caught in photos and on audio. They have tantrums, sometimes even in front of several people. They can overindulge themselves with money, getting themselves into financial hot water. They count too much on their charm to get themselves through with people who aren't easily charmed. They can overdo the victim role to where others tire of it. Their incessant need to be put on a pedestal comes to be seen as immature over time, so they often have to sever ties with those who come to see through them. The more of the opposite sex they go through, the less respect they garner.

My husband is like this. Always do everything for others. Any project, electrical, plumbing, whatever, he'll get it done for anyone else even someone he just met because he loves praises from people. BUT at home I can't get him to clean his own garage or pick.up his tools off the floor. The garage has been a mess for ever and everytime I clean and organize it he trashes it the next day "claiming to look for something". He hates when I get something done or create something, like a bar I made out of an amoir. He'd rather something not get done than for me to do it because then if someone asks about it he can't take credit. He loves to take credit for things that I start and didn't need his help. He constantly needs to be told he is doing a good job. He tears me down so he won't look as bad. Soul sucking for sure

They Talk In Circles Because They Are Disorganized - "That's not what I meant" "That's not what I said." That's a weakness because it means that they have no strategy. You can completely ruin them (especially if they're a co worker or someone you need to track your time with) if you document every disruptive, abusive incident you have with them. When or if you need to talk to a supervisor or someone 'in charge', you will have back up and they won't, because they're DISORGANIZED people.

@ajbunches8253 жыл бұрын
You are so far ahead of the game since you are learning early! If you see a lot of strong narcissistic behaviors, you’ve got to start moving yourself away. If you don’t allow yourself to be a high-value source of supply, your friend will vanish but you may experience the hurtful devaluation and discard on the way out. Save yourself that pain. People often say things like you shouldn’t judge others. In this case, they’ve judged you-as an ego filling supply for them. Just be less available. Learn what they value as a supply & stop doing it. You won’t have to leave & they may replace you which will lessen their devaluation & discard.

If anyone youre in any kind of relationship with crosses your boundaries then you know who to hold close and who to keep at more of a distance. Be true to you and know its not ever any of your business what another thinks about you. Theres givers and takers in this world and a taker can sense a giver like a shark senses a drop of blood in the ocean. People who dont take accountability for their actions are takers, though theyll try giving their bs to anyone willing to take it...

"Soul suckers" This is so true for the 6 weaknesses I can see it everytime I meet this narcissist. *** Another weakness I have seen is that they turn around and leave in the middle of a conversation if they don't win the argument or it's not something they agree on.*** and comes back on the subject via phone or emails - that they hate doing because it shows and leaves a trace of their lies.

Awesome spot on! I have done sales and I am in business for myself. My business partner is a malignant narcissist not a liar but all 5 for sure. I have done 6 years of psychoanalysis therapy to deal with that sucking energy that depletes. Today our relationship has improved by 90% I learned the patterns...🤔👍

This is my ex completely!!!!! Silly little lies for no reason and when I call him out he twists with more lies or that I heard it wrong! Do they lie to others or just their partners/ex partners? I sing 🎶 Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies when he’s around! He used to hate (still does) when I liked a different car someone else was driving. His car was apparently the best 😂 He’s even jealous of kids!

They lie constantly. To everyone, including themselves. To add some variety & plausible deniability they lace in some tiny bits of truth. When they get caught, they point to the tiny truths to distract others from all their enormous lies.

I share with my identical twin sister a huge Narcissist an energy sucking, lying, very insecure evil step mom. Who's been in therapy for 36 years & has PTSD from her brother...she claims from her childhood. She's controlling our Dad by not allowing us to speak with him privately & makes rules that we cannot yell or or talk about any emotions while talking over the phone. We are at a crucial standpoint because we decided we had enough & have stopped all communication. We feel it's time to negotiate boundaries that she has taken great advantage of. What are your thoughts? 🤔 It's a shame she is so insecure & cold AND VERY resentful. She puts on a good front but her game is over. We realized also our father has fueled her fire. ♥️ your views & vids 🙏🏼

The fact that they always put themselves above others can be a weakness. They may use it so befriend you at some point, like say someone was rude to you, they may say "oh they are so rude in this place", and for a second that protects you. But, soon you will realize they do this with everyone, and absolutely no one is up to their standards, and you can only imagine they say things about you when you are not around. If people catch on to this it can be to their detriment.

Your content is such great help Rebecca. I was currently experiencing Gashlight & Mirroring by a Narcissist. I keep on checking all your content yes everything resembles the character of a Narc that spying & stalker my social media acct. She's already copying everything that is on me from the way that I dress up to the skills that I have. She wants me to get mad & respond to what she is doing. Luckily I saw your vlog, I eventually deactivated my acct. No Contact is the best way to fight back the Narc.

I can't just yet get out, but I am really trying to take the steps to step out! Without to much drama for me and for our baby of course

I have had a strong empathic capability all my life (very much so in my youth) to the point where I had to learn to dumb it down just to cope, and I have not had to deal much with narcissists in my life as when I have picked up any hint of that in a person (it was such a disgusting thing to me) I would just try to avoid any interactions with them, but now my sister has 'hooked up' with a person that (I strongly suspect) is a covert narcissist, and I have noticed something a little creepy. empathic impressions (at least for me) are not something I can tune and focus and get solid documentable data from, but if I were to use an analogy of a visible light telescope looking at a night sky with patchy clouds, then some things you get a better or worse picture of (to some degree based on obstructions) but this guy (empathically speaking) is kind of like a black hole that doesn't seem to show up at all except as an occlusion to what I would normally sense from my sister when he is in close proximity to her. it isn't distinct enough to be dogmatic about it, but I have not yet 'sensed' anything directly from him, and that (though not unheard of) is somewhat unnerving on its own. thanks for your video's, and hang in there : )

I agree with Tomikio. The first awakenings had was that he couldn’t take my serenity, peace and even joy if I didn’t let him. And my faith and my gratitude were mine-not his. As a Catholic, I learned why Mary told us to pray the Rosary. It was and is the best anxiety fixer EVER! You can’t say it without concentrating and by the time you are done, peace, quiet & calm fill your soul.

In the case of these people you can’t go to the authorities because they manipulate them it’s extremely dangerous DO NOT do this!!!! The fact is there’s a handful of cutting edge psychologists in the world who actually understand fragile (sometimes called covert) narcissism in all its aspects properly. The police however well-meaning are simply not equipped to deal with this problem!!! If you’ve suffered abuse and trauma they will pick up on the fact that you are suffering from PTSD and therefore acting frantically and assume that you are the problem. Game set and match narcissist!

Rebecca, my niece and i have always referred to her father [my older brother] as "Soul murderer". Interesting you use the term "Soul Sucker" which is very similar. This 'man' has destroyed the lives, [and continues to] of his daughter and most family members. He has been a narcissist since he was a child. Question: How do narcissist's learn this fine art? Is there a narcissist school they go to? [kidding] He is SO SKILLED at gaslighting that his FIRST wife had herself committed to a mental hospital and he then went around gloating about it..... BTW, he HATES me with a passion because he knows I know his game so he just gave up and disowned me IN WRITING.
