I think the narcissist that I was with had the fear that I was going to expose him for what he was. He used to always tell me promise me that you will not say one word about what we're doing together to anyone because it would destroy my life.

Yes but narcissists have a martyr complex which none of the online shrinks mention. It's not fake to guilt trip you, they definitely feel the victim. They feel so entitled that when one of their ploys doesn't work to get you to give them something they feel totally betrayed. They don't see that they were only trying to manipulate you, you failed to reciprocate when they gave you something cynically designed to to get something. They go around with a look that says I can't win, why are these people so mean. They cannot out themselves in the other person's shoes to see that what they are asking for is unreasonable.

My ex threatened me with a restraining order. Narcs will try and weaponize the cops and whomever else to indulge their sickness. This is known as stonewalling. Don’t take it personally, you are dealing with a sick person, look at a restraining order as a huge blessing, good luck, know that you are loved

I have also experienced this, I was in the hospital when the neighbor and her monkeys went to court and lied about me being violent. I am extremely disabled and I tell her constantly barking dogs to shut up. I have called the police and told them she told me to go shoot myself. I have never been depressed or suicidal. These people turned everything around like narcissist s do, I am getting a counter restraining order against her soon. Our apts. Finally got a security guard and the police wave at me, so things can change for the better. Thanks for the positive messages from your videos.

Giving the exakt same answers, excuses...like oh your so sensitive, it does not matter, i got things to do, i dont always want to say hallo when i am here because you are busy, or you were not there (not true) or i only want to help, I feel sorry for them, i can only do what is in my capacity, are you sad? I helped so many people, i can not taste your cake you made for my bithday, my tooth hurts, you are crazy, arent you cold?, you look so pale, are you ok? (When in reality feeling really good and happy and having had so many compliments about lets say a dress from people), from recently you are pretty balanced, i am proud on myself about your achievements...to name some. Or how about the differnt masks? From toddler, to a so caring person to arrogant and busy to a devil in human form to the copy of the opposite sex. 😀

Depending on how long you were with a narcissist it becomes just your life. Stay long enough and you will eventually believe what they say. I did not even realize what was happening. Left after 22 years - hardest and best thing I ever did.

I didn't know what a narcisist was until a cpl months ago. June would have been our 50th wedding anniversary. Shortly after the 10th, I took my 3 little girls and left for a weekend, then separated for life safety reasons. I could no longer trust him to tell the truth so no possibility of reconciling. Had to wait 3 yrs. for divorce. Found I could not pay a lawyer to present/defend our truth so represented myself. Fortunately, court counsellors and an excellent MD @ the children's hospital they fast tracked me to saved my children from overnight access before the court hearing! The youngest was under 2 yrs. when we parted so I spent the next 17 yrs. being dragged into court on one illegal/unnecessary lie after another. There was a showdown when the eldest turned 19 & he would not release her financial investment. The judge also ruled in such a way as to protect the children's money from the gov't Welfare Dept. ever taking it when I had to depend on them due to injuries/job loss. My girls each worked fulltime by 15yrs. and the eldest @ 47yrs is still in the career she began fulltime @ 161/2. I homeschooled them thru highschool & some elementary. The middle one earned a 4 yr. degree in 3.5yrs. & Grad with Honours in USA while we lived in Canada. She still works in her career @ 44yrs. Their father would lie against me to church ministers behind my back in both countries which cost me one night not knowing where they were in a fireign country. I'm just thankful I'm not dealing with courts today as they are very corrupted/politicized!!

Hi Rebecca! You have, in this one video, brought the last 28 years of my life out into the light where I have now been able to get a good look at it, and WOW!!! I've been a literal pawn to her every manipulation, her gaslighting (Yes, I even had made up my own retort to her ever present, "No it's not!" I would shoot back "Call the sky purple every day, when I look up it's only blue!" My god, the hell my life has been and never knowing why, actually thinking I was really cursed. It is the emotional abuse which over the last year has begun to manifest itself into physical abuse, with her denying and laying out evil plots and plans as to why it is hopeless for me to even try to do anything about it! I used to be a very outgoing, positive, nothing I can't handle or do kind of guy, responsible and always willing to help, lots of friends and others seemed to always genuinely like seeing me, talking with me. About five months ago, I was feeling completely wrung out and stressed and very unhappy with myself, my normal state. I don't know why, but images and sounds and even smells all came rushing into my thoughts all at once and the feelings along with them. I remember saying to myself, out loud even, and thought it was someone else for a second because of how weird my own voice sounded, "I don't even know who you are anymore! I don't like who you've become." I was losing my mind and had begun to have episodes of depression and hopelessness and the occasional suicidal daydream began playing out in my mind unprovoked. I'm going to watch every single video you have here, probably more than once! You're the miracle I needed to illuminate every dark and depressing corner which was my entire life!!! I UNDERSTAND WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING AND I FEEL HOPE INSIDE MY SOUL ONCE AGAIN!!! THANK YOU!!! I know, it's 11 months old, but it is new to me today and extremely powerful! Me too . Recently been love bombed and ghosted.. I was in hospital suffering a stroke from emotional stress of my wife , marrying me and taking everything then demonising me to everyone around me . This has now been a pattern for over 20 years and 2 convictions for " domestic violence" which I admitted out of fear for my children and custody.. I'm now fighting my wife in criminal court against false aligations. I then 11 months later have my now ex partner love bomb me , move him out and me in to his house and his children.. I fell for all of it again .. until friends of hers next door felt sorry for me after I broke and she left and ghosted . It hurts .. I could literally drop dead from the stress and yet she still continues to try and hurt me like all my all my ex partners did . I feel very stupid, alone and beaten by the world . I'm male 39 and could face prison at the hands of one of these women. I'm very open and genuinely believe in allowing myself to be vulnerable or how can love be real and life worth living? I've realised that not knowing these traits has left me as a sheep to slaughter all my life . There is no help ! For the last 12 months I have and the professionals involved in my care have tried to get it but the waiting lists and lack for men . In all honesty these relationships have taken my children, hurt my family beyond repair and damaged my mental health serverly over the years , since I was a young boy .. my mother being the first perpetrator, allowing my step father to serverly abuse me physically. All these years, and what I now face for my lack of awareness . I always blamed myself, because I would break in the end and be so confused and broken, I made threats at myself and shouted , asked what i can do , felt responsible, never violent .. this is how they use the UK laws to manipulate justice and ruin so many men with genuine hearts .. keep hitting a dog with a stick it bites ... When we raise our voices as men or act out of emotion because a person has twisted us , we are blamed, demonised and disregarded by everyone around us . We are still human.

I AM SO READY. I dealt already with a high functioning narcisist (diagnosed by professionals ). I survived his torture. I am not saying that this person (a family member) is a Narcisist. But I recognize the patterns. I AM DONE MAKING EXCUSES. I called her out on her behaviour and she uses the silent treatment on me. I AM DONE BLAMING MYSELF, I AM DONE FEELING WORTHLESS, I AM DONE LETTING MYSELF GET HURT LIKE THIS AGAIN. I AM DONE TO BE HER PUPPET, but when other People are around, she is a totally different person. She told me when I called her about 3 man *that Hurt* me and her reply was; "Maybe you asked for it". More Cruel things like this. And she denies it. I AM DONE AND READY. I just want my life back. My whole family turned their back on me. I wish her the best. All I want is to break the cycle for once and for all. Sometimes I am scared that it's me that is the NARC. But I know better after years of therapy. I have PTSD. IT'S getting better. But this situation is holding me back. I don't want to hurt her. Seems like an adult closure is impossible either. Any advice? Please?

Can you please make a video on how to crush the narcissist that you have a six year old child with. She knows my daughter is the only love in my life, so she always used her to get back under my skin. You have no idea how many people you are helping. I studied a bit of workplace bullying and it amazed me to learn that bullying works in favor of the bully ~57% of the time. This is when she went off the rails and did everything to block this and then convinced all of our friends that I was horrible and abusive. After doing some research it got me that she couldn't and wouldn't be able to let me gain back the status that I once had! Many women get involved with narcissistic men. The emotional damage is pretty severe and takes time to recover. Cutting them off completely is the way to go. I shut down my FB, changed my phone number and email so he wouldn't have access to me post breakup. It was the right decision. Will pray for him and the other women he gets involved with.
