They were definitely at the top of their game But I have been to six guns n' roses concerts in my life and I can tell you for sure. The one I went to just last year was the best yet Yeah Axl doesn't quite have the voice today but it sounds so much better live than anything you will hear on KZbin And it seems like they have finally figured out the horrible audio problems that plagued all their concerts in the old days Did Axl Rose sound better back then?? Of course But you could rarely even hear him so it didn't even matter

One of the early Guns N' Roses gigs on their tour for the 'Use your illusion' albums... also one of the early shows in early '92 featuring Gilby Clarke (guitar) who was hired to replace original guitarist Izzy Stradlin... But the wheels started falling off in 1992 as GNR toured the world, especially the stadium tour w/ Metallica that year... Many fans complained that Guns N' Roses were shambles later on that tour and Metallica was blowing them away every night. GNR was using drugs and drinking heavily... and their performances began to suffer. Axl Rose's domineering attitude had separated him from the other band members... By the time the tour ended in 1993, Guns N' Roses would not be heard from for decades...

Have to disagree with you Rebeka as this song is better on the album as it flows better as Axl holds notes better without being choppy. Watch the official video or listen to album version and you'll understand why.
@LN-Lifer6 ай бұрын
Casual fan take for sure. The only time I would recommend the studio version for this song is if you watch the official video because the Terminator 2 makes it so cool As for a guns n' roses song that I will always recommend the studio over any live version...Coma Other than that give me raw every time
@AlltelJohnny124 ай бұрын
@@LN-Liferno, an experienced fan is better suited for live performances because they’re already familiar with the studio versions of these songs. Put yourself in the shoes of someone brand new to the song. Getting familar with the original version allows someone to appreciate the live version more.

some bands are epic if you only remember them at their peak, but 2000s Axl is not worthy of quarters pitched into a collection plate...the band gave us some great studio albums we can always turn to and some great live performances back in the late 80s and early 90s, but most of all they gave us Slash....and when Slash and Dusty would find a great grove, they made moments of epic proportions. Too bad too many of those moments crashed when Axl couldn't remember what song they were on and would destroy the connection with an insistence of his own recognition be supreme in his drugged-out mistiming or epic proportions.
@SJ-ty5rw6 ай бұрын
Axl has to be the biggest idiot in rock . in 1992-1993 this band was as big as the Rolling Stones . They had released Appetite for Destruction , which shot them to the top . Then in 93 , just come off a double album , and world tour that had made them even more successful . And Axl walks away .. at the height of their success only to go into hiding for years and years . Then comes back with a cover band for a run . Then finally reunites .. with most of the original members , when they are in their 50's ... The guy wasted most of their career for nothing !
