Netflix showed Snyder’s last movie Army of the Dead in select theaters one week early, so I’m sure they will do something similar closer to release. Couldn’t be more excited btw, saw AOTD in theaters back in 2021 and it was a much more enjoyable experience, compared to watching it at home.

No problem for me. I have a home theater. I'm about to upgrade to an 85" miniLED tv with over 2000 nits of HDR. I'm gonna watch it in the highest fidelity. And 7.4.6 Dolby Atmos. So even if it doesnt hit theaters, my experience at home isnt going to be that much different.

This was at first Zack's new adult take on a new Star Wars universe story he pitched to Disney. But Disney being crappy Disney these days said no to it. So Netflix jumped at it and gave him free range to do his thing. Zack has confirmed he took inspiration from movies like, Battle Beyond The Stars, Seven Samurai and some Star Wars. You can see nodes to movies in it like, Gladiator and John Carter as well as Dune. But you can tell just from watching this first trailer it is pure Snyder and he is one if not the best for Cinematography and visual effects. This is what we need,a big bold beautiful action new space opera that isn't touched by woke corporate influence as so many movies are these days. He is also making a massive open world RPG game and some books. And I may not be right about this, but I am sure there will be a third film to this as I have read this countless times. Thank you Zack for making a movie that brings back all the great stuff from my childhood movies and putting them into a new and fresh movie like this just when we all needed it. 😮

What i really love about this entire project is Netflix's approach juxtaposed to how Warner Bros did Zach. He wrote a 3hr movie and THEY said lets just make it 2... He usually has to fight studios to make a director's cut of his films. Netflix is allowing him to not only make pg13 AND r rateD versions of both films but when we get the directors cut it will be 60extra minutes of film... not pieced from the scrap heap, but filmed EXCLUSIVELY for the directors cut. I think the TRUST is a beautiful thing, the respect... just letting Zach Cook at his own pace, in his own space and letting the people decide... hope you fellas have a blast red carpet at the London premiere and maybe we get to see you stateside i LA Or NewYork ridin the rebel wave. The trailer is narrated by Anthony Hopkins. He is playing a robot named Jimmy in Rebel Moon. The character was performed by Dustin Ceithamer on set, while Hopkins is responsible for providing the voice. He is a sentient robot designed for combat and with a humanoid body design. He occasionally wears antlers during the movie, as you can see in the start of the trailer.

One reason why this may not be in theaters is - Zack Snyder was rejected by Disney when he proposed the idea of this film to them. Disney is going to fire a whole bunch of dumbasses for passing up this work of art & visual piece of filmmaking. Especially if Zack Snyder continues to go forward with the story into more projects. I don't think they'll be more than 2 hrs each. The R rated cuts will be just a few seconds here and there adding upto a few minutes where they cut the scenes before showing violence etc
