Really confused why Nikki made it so far, when she beat Tiffany I was like hmm. Then when she beat Belinda I thought what BS! I felt like they kept a weaker competitor in the finals to secure who they thought deserved to win. Top 4 should have been Tiffany, Belinda, Ellis and Leigh.

I TOTALLY AGREE! they should look not just at that day's previous challenge, Val & Dominic should look at all their prior art especially if they disagree, which they often do, then also their time management skills and ability to cope under intense pressure. Just like any service industry - take hospitality for example, health, etc - just because of who they are, and who they think they are doesn't mean that the people first voted off - i found in season one had amazing challenges they'd overcome and were incredible artists because of who they were and what that'd survived - the best of the best looks - goneburgers! - the only reality tv show I watch because of how they treat each other, help and care for each other, and the kindness shown by Stacey or when an MUA is struggling or hits rock bottom - DING DONG to that - and discrimination is all I will say!

I can't believe Nikki made it to the top 2. I feel like Leigh, Belinda and Tiffany were much more talented than her with their creativity, techniques and time management. Mielle Deaky exactly they said there were so many mistakes in his black lip but duh they could point it out and the one thing they pointed out was not even visible and looked more like lighting effect. Also his work had more pigment and appeared black but her work was more like watercolour. I mean wow...i was so pissed ...

the first episodes of glow up make me feel like it was a cheaper version of FaceOff, and it looks like they really trayed to find judges on glow up that looks like the judges on FaceOff where Val Garland really looks a lot like Ve Neill and Dominic Skinner looks like a ugly cross between Neville Page and Glenn Hetrick.

The first season of this show really pissed me off. Look I will admit Nikki is talented, but not enough to make it to the finals. They were so many others who were more talented and amazing. Not to mention most of Nikki work wasn’t perfect. Majority of it the judges didn’t like, while you had someone like Brenda and the pink haired chick where they nailed EVERY LOOK. But were kicked off. I don’t care who did the best black lip or perfect eye linear in the face off. It all came down to who is talented. Not to mention the face off is pretty stupid to me. Cause someone who has done amazing looks from the start and did all the hard but they get judged based on doing the perfect eye linear or who does the best clumpy mascara. It makes it as if all the work they did, doesn’t matter.

Any contestant on any reality show that cries in the first episode needs to go home and let someone who is ready for the opportunity step in. Put on your big girl/boy undies and act like an adult. I call BS on the crying and am certain it's a manipulative tool to get pity from the judges. When that judge hugged the crier, I knew she would fight for the crier no matter how bad the crier was. I watched 30 minutes and that was too much. Gave it a huge thumbs down on Netflix and watched no more.

I think BELINDA is better than anyone else when it comes to creativity ( I was rooting for her) BUT, this show is great because its not BIASED. Just because youre better than everyone else, doesnt mean youre the best at everything. Like, you could have the highest final average in class, but that doesnt mean your grades are higher than anyone in every subject. NIKKI, proved it in the face off. She is slow but she takes her time even if it need to be rushed. BELINDA however and the rest that nikki knocked out, were all mentally stressed . The judges needed to judge based on the outcome of the faceoff, not from their past work so they were just being fair. but LEIG was my bet and Belinda 2nd lol.
