Holy crap Jared! I have a hard enough time masking a 1/72 cockpit. I can't imagine doing a 1/144. You got skills brother. The whole build is exceptional including the base. Well done sir!!!

Thanks TommyBoy, it was a true challenge, that's for sure. I kept worrying that I was going to break the windows, they are quite thin.

As a modeler, I find lots of inspiration from your work. Great job, and thanks for the upload!

Very nice builds!!!! I've never seen anyone motorize a 1/144 scale fighter before. I wish that Sweet made a P-40.

Not sure what SWEET are up to these days, but I think AFV makes one in this scale.

Mmmmmmmmm... I like it... or both, as it turned out! :) Didn't know you could get engines small enough to fit inside a 1/144 scale aircraft.. but obviously you do.. :) Love the sea as well.. Brilliant, all!

Thanks Rob :D Those are Micro Motors, from what I saw they are used for the tail rotors in RC Helicopters.

I’ve seen these kits on EBay but the high price always put me off. You.did an excellent build. The kit is surprisingly well detailed for the scale.
@tommyboyscalemodeling49884 жыл бұрын
They have them at HobbyLink Japan also. I'm sure probably cheaper than the Evil Bay price.

Usually you get 2 kits in the box, and the quality is very high for the scale. The panel lines in particular were nicer than I've seen with some other companies in larger scales.

Amazing degree of detail on behalf of the manufacturer when it comes to panel details (at least on the wings), and amazing work of improvement on your behalf too. You make it seem so easy to motorize such a tiny kit. Also, masking the canopy frame such a tiny kit must have been hazardous for real, and it adds yet more merit to the precision of detail that you put on this kit. And that "sea base" looks just wonderful. Just one question: why did you use different glues to join the fuselage halves first and to put together fuselage and wings and wingtips then? Work keeps me delayed as regards your channel (and those of other partners), so it will take me some time to get updated...

I should have liked this vid the first time around👍 I recently built the Zvedza 1/144 Polikarpov IL-6. That was tiny😂 Great kit though. Also, Arma hobby are releasing a 1/72 Grumman FM-2 Wildcat very soon. They make excellent kits mate. Carry on and keep making excellent kits👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

I saw the parts for that one a few days ago and I agree it looks great. I'd really live to try out their new Hawker Hurricane one of these days. And that wild cat looks like a very fun build :D

Is Jeremy the guy in Britain that makes these? I saw someone on Phil Flory's website that was building models with motors and working lights. Really nice stuff! And, I'm glad you're back into Japanese aircraft. Mine are still waiting patiently.

No Jerry sent me the Zero, I motorized this myself. I used a micro motor to power this little guy, it was challenging but a fun project :)
