Reborn baby Chase by Bonnie Brown/ Kit Review

Hi Myra, Firstly I would like to thank you for your videos, I enjoy watching them :) I would like to explain his arms, from watching your videos I know your personal preferences very well, but I thought you may like to read beyond that with my reasoning. Chase has two fists because, these two fists are what I LOVED on him, I will never put something out if I do not love it myself first, I tried many many many different hand positions on him, over the 4 years he was in progress and these beautiful little fists worked best with him, not just from memory of this gorgeous little 8lbs 12oz newborn, but for this expression of him that I had picked also. Secondly, Chase has two bent arms because real newborn Chase always had his hands up in his face ❤️ Two sweet little fists are something I personally don’t often do, so it was a lovely change for me, personally one open hand and one closed can be very boring to me, I think this one open and one closed pattern is the most popular in sculpted kits also. Soon we will be tired of two L-Shaped bent legs I am sure hehe. Between his bent arms, bent legs, little fists and wiggly face, I love that he is a very alive, very cuddly little baby boy ❤️ I hope you fall a little more in love as you paint, a little more in love as you put him together, a little more in love with the first cuddle and a little more in love when you do your photoshoot ❤️

Hi Bonnie😊 Thank you so much for explaining. As I mention in a lot of my videos, I absolutely love your work. My little Brady (Levi) will NEVER leave my home. From the minute I saw Chase’s little face I fell in love with him. He looks just like my son when he was a baby😊 I do wish for one hand to at least be different but that’s just my personal preference. We all have them. He’s still amazing and as always you did an amazing job. His little legs are to die for!!! Thanks once again for taking the time to explain. I truly appreciate it. I took him a bath last night and starting on him tonight😊♥️

I absolutely love my Chase kit (Anna Rose). The hands are the main reason I fell in love with this kit. It reminds me of my newborns. All 5 of them would fist both of their hands just like this and hold them under their chins while they nursed their bottles. This is a very newborn look to a baby. I've seen lots of newborns do this. I know we all have our preference but I am in love with this baby and it is now my number 1 favorite Bonnie Brown kit.

I love his two fists, especially for little boys. and when i put my own hands in a fist position, my fingers naturally fall into exactly identicle (the same). position. I love this kit. I got one, for my personal keep baby. It was fun to notice on bonnie brown facebook theres a pic of the human chase holding reborn doll chase:) alot of people do like variety sometimes of two different hands, but when its two fist actually when we make a fist ourself with our own hands theres no finger out of place. We naturally make two fists identically.

I love the arms that is how a small or new babies hands are, and they are different, the thumbs are different the way they are placed on the hand

If you have 1079 out of 1500.. wow thats gettting close to sold out. My chase is number 305. He doesnt have a vinyl oder. I love your kit reviews before painted, and look forward to your details videos after baby is completed. I am anxious to see your chase done before i start mine haha. I dont have a levi i just came back into reborning this year after a 10 year break. Lol. Back then there wasnt videos out. The reborn community has sure grown. Youre one of my top favorite channels to watch. You show us great footage and your bubbly personality is enjoyably entertaining:) plus you have a great owls eye (like wise) to details of things.

The two arms are far from dublicated from each other on this kit, each were sculpted all the way from scratch :)

Love this review. I've been debating putting a Levi head on a Chase body because I actually love the two fists and this was very helpful for comparison. Also, OMG your Levi is the most gorgeous version I've ever seen!! Wow.

Mine arrived yesterday and there was no smell . I have started painting him and the paint takes so well . He is gorgeous like you say a twin brother for Levi . Can't wait to see him finished xx

Yes, I definitely smelled those chemicals when I opened the bag. Very strong smell. I noticed that with the Levi kit too. Not sure if your Levi smelled, but I remember that. I did a review of Chase as well, and mentioned the smell.

I agree about the two fisted hands, I think one slightly open hand would have been way cuter, like how Tink’s hand is. But I LOVE his feet. I’m actually not totally in love with his face, but he is cute.

Exactly and when you pay 110 just for the kit you really don’t want to go buy extra limbs. I know exactly what you mean. For that price the hands should be different there’s no need to dupe them

I totally agree. I know everyone has their preference but when you pay as much as we do for a blank kit, I want every single detail to look as close to a real baby as possible. I speak for my self. ...I cannot deal with that strong "chemical" smell Myra talked about. Properly made vinyl sculpts shouldn't be giving off this odor. I have two of the same reborns by Bountiful Baby and one smells the other doesn't. When in close proximity to me, the odor does begin to bother me - bummer.
