We follow Hazrat Ali after holy prophet because he was the chosen leader after holy prophet. anyone who worships any other human being or anything except Allah is not shia because its shirk. Worship is only for Allah but we get deen from Quran, Holy prophet and Ahlybait. and following the footsteps of Holy prophet and his ahlybait is following Allah.

Yusha Khan every imam had enemies in their time. It was narrated that 'Ali said: "The Prophet [SAW] made a covenant with me that none would love me but a believer, and none would hate me but a hypocrite." - Sunan al Nasa’i (sahih) sunnah.com/nasai/A’isha rages war on imam Ali AS in the battle of the camel that led to the death of over 15,000 Muslims. Aisha had extreme hatred for imam Ali AS where he said in his book, Nahjul Balagha, “As regards a certain woman (Ayesha), she is in the grip of womanly views, and malice is boiling in her bosom like the furnace of the blacksmith. If she were called upon to deal with others as she is dealing with me she would not have done it. And as for her (despite her hatred) after this is her original sanctity (i.e. return to the house of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) in Medina), while the reckoning (of her misdeeds) is an obligation on Allah.” (Sermon 156). Most of our sunni brothers sadly have taken most of Islam from Aisha. Also, Allah swt threatens her with the army of the heavens in surah al tahrim. Allah swt also compares her and hafsa to the wives of prophet Noah AS and Lut AS where they plotted against their husbands. This confirmed in Sahih al Bukhari. Narrated Ibn `Abbas: I intended to ask `Umar so I said, "Who were those two ladies who tried to back each other against the Prophet?" I hardly finished my speech when he said, They were `Aisha and Hafsa." sunnah.com/urn/45910 Also, how can one claim to love imam Ali AS yet love those that took away his rights (caliphate). It’s as if saying, i love Palestine but i also love Israel.

I mean that... I follow what people would call a sunni aqeeda I don't considered myself as anything aside from "Muslim". Of course Shias believe only 1 God the reason you said that was because you keep hearing misinformation from Sunnis that Shias believe Imam Ali is God but they don’t believe that at all. Also who said you can’t say anything bad about wives? Does Quran say you can’t? Allah Himself in Quran speaks bad about the wife of prophet Nuh (Noah) for example. Allah will not put a wife of a prophet in paradise (jannah) just because she is a wife. No. Allah judge based on actions. Pharaoh killed so many and he said he is god but he had a very good wife. Who is worse? A person that curses Imam Ali or a person that fights Imam Ali with the sword? If someone cursing Imam Ali is bad because Imam Ali is sahabah then what about Aisha who fought Imam Ali in battle of Jamal? The prophet (S) said in Sahih Bukhari, Muslim and Tirmidhi and more Sunni hadith books that nobody loves Imam Ali except a believer and nobody hates Imam Ali except a munafiq (hypocrite). If we look in history, who hated Imam Ali from the “sahaba”? We respect only real sahaba not people who are not real sahaba in their hearts and actions. Look Sahih Bukhari that only hypocrites hate Imam Ali. sunnah.com/muslim/1/146 This means everyone who fought Imam Ali is not real sahaba and remember just because you are the wife of the prophet it doesn’t mean you are good. The uncle of the prophet Abu Lahab is bad even Sunnis say he is bad. Being related by blood to a prophet means literally nothing. Look at everyone’s actions and belief not their blood.

There is nothing in Islam that says you will be protected from hell just because you are related to a prophet. Prophet of Lot and prophet of Noah were both condemned by Allah in the Quran. Uncle of the final prophet (S) who is Abu Lahab was also condemned by Allah. Aisha got more than 2500 “sahabis” killed and had war against the fourth caliph Imam Ali in the famous “Battle of The Camel”. Brother how much more proof do you want?

I was both like yourselves, I come from a Sunni background , I've been shia for 4 years and did not adhere to any marji for the first 2 years because of the confusion you both mentioned. Alhamdulillah 2 years ago I've come across the call of Imam Ahmad Al Hassan (AS) the yamani mentioned in numerous shia hadith. He comes with the will of the Holy Prophet (S) the will which states that there are 12 Imams and after the 12 Imams, there will be 12 Mahdis and the first of the Mahdis is named Ahmad. Ahmad al Hassan (AS) is the first Mahdi which calls to Imam Muhammad ibn Hassan al-Askari (AS). Please research this matter, the evidences are overwhelming. If you have paltalk enter the room called 'The Black Banners of the East' we are the ansar of Imam Al Mahdi (AS) by adhering to his vicegerent Imam Ahmad Al Hassan (AS). Just like you both researched and came across the irrefutable proofs of the school of Ahl al-Bayt I urge you to do the same with this blessed call and don't let anyone turn away from researching this path. Salam.

No, certainly was not a hereditary system because Ibraheem and his sons Ishaaq and Ismail were chosen by wahi, i.e. by revelation and Divine decision, not by family inheritance. ishaaq and Ismail were anbiyaa not because of birth and lineage but due to the Divine Decision and Divine Choosing [Istifaa] and selection [ikhtiyar]. "And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; "Oh my sons! Allah hath CHOSE [istifaa] the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam." - al Baqarah 2:132 The same is the case with Yusuf (as) and Ya'qoob, otherwise all of the children and descendants and ascendants would have been anbiyaa and binding authority, but they were not. In fact when Ibraheem (as) asked for exception for relatives on family grounds, Allah (swt) rejected it as the Divine authority and prophethood is based on Divine conditions and principles, not on blood relationship... “And (remember) when the Lord of Ibraheem tried him with commands, which he fulfilled. Trying to answer as best as I can, sorry if they're too simple of answers. I'm also having trouble understanding your questions, so sorry if I don't answer properly :/ A1: This will depend from person to person, however I'll start with this: it was not in the akhlaq of the prophet pbuh or his family to curse anyone, so we are not supposed to curse or even insult anyone, you should always think the best of people unless they have given you clear proof otherwise. Nobody knows what was in their hearts, but the actions of many of them were questionable, HOWEVER, it doesn't make them disbelievers. We are allowed to criticize the actions and mistakes they've made, but not insult or curse. I personally feel that they all made big mistakes (which some of them admit to and repented for) that caused much larger issues for the rest of the Ummah even until now, especially ESPECIALLY Muawiya. I want to believe the best of the others, but Muawiyas actions (if you read within your own books) are just horrible and inexcusable. He ordered the cursing of Imam Ali for YEARS. There is no doubt on his actions. A2: There are three different types of thought for this within shia thought by the way. But remember that "higher rank" does not equal "better." One of the thoughts is that the imam has a higher rank than all prophets except Mohammed pbuh, the second is that the imam holds a higher rank than all the ark prophets but not the prophets who were both messengers and imams, and the third is that the prophets have a higher rank than the imams. The reason for the first two is because the rank of "imam" in the Quran was given to some prophets after they had completed tasks and proven themselves worthy - then they were given the knowledge and wisdom needed to be an imam. This is just a man-made system of categorizing things, it doesn't really mean anything. I am also under the opinion of the third, that the prophets have a higher rank than the imams, but I understand what the other two are saying. A3: idk homie, no one knows lmao. A4: if this is the sheik I'm thinking of, I really really really really dislike him and he does nooottt represent the shia. I hate that people watch him and how he is misrepresenting shias. He is extremely rude and condescending which is absolutely already against the teachings of the prophet pbuh, and he even throws false "facts" in his arguments that actually make the prophet pbuh look bad. Honestly, I don't know much about the history. I don't believe any of us can say that anyone is in hell or that anyone is a disbeliever. I don't know much about Hafsa, I just know that the prophet pbuh tried to divorce her a few times. And Aisha made grave mistakes that she later repented for. In my humble opinion, I believe that a lot of hadiths on both the sunni and the shia side are fabricated, so many of the ones that supposedly came from Aisha make her look bad, but I don't believe those really came from her. Otherwise, I could see how some people would think she went astray or betrayed the prophet.

He warned her and said that the losing/wrong side will arrive near a body of water and there would be dogs barking (or something like that) looked at Aisha and said "I hope it's not you, Aisha". Aisha arrived and there were dogs barking and she realized, panicked and wanted to turn back but then other companions forced her to stay. Some shia don't know the second half of the story so they just see that she was on the wrong side of the battle (this is what she repented for, she knew she made a mistake in waging a war against Ali), and if they knew she regretted this, then they would know she wasn't a disbeliever. And then many sunnis dont even know this event, that she went to war against Ali

We love truth when it enlightens us, but hate when it convicts us. Instructing to "Heart wash" from sin is not "Brainwash". God created universe, placed natural laws, made humans in His image, gave talents, instructed to multiply and explore - The Initiation of Science. Science is the legitimate child of natural laws. Without natural laws science has no foundation. We are created with good purpose and meaning. We are good. Then sin entered through satan and we all fallen. "I am The Good Shepherd". Jesus Christ has the authority to forgive sins. Religion says "Do". Jesus Christ says "Done". Religion is man's attempts to 'search gods'. Jesus Christ came from heaven in 'search of man'. Salvation from sin and hell is not earned through works or deeds or pilgrimages or rituals or ceremonies or traditions or cultures or meditations or public displays or hypocrisy or making personal sacrifices or making animal sacrifices. Salvation from sin and hell is free, but not cheap. Because Jesus Christ laid His life on The Cross, and resurrected. God loves the sinner, but hates the sin. Just like a parent loves child, but hates disease in child. We are saved by God's grace, not by our works. Karma is getting what we deserve. Grace is getting what we don't deserve. Only Grace can be pre-fixed with word Amazing. Amazing Grace. Karma is not Amazing, it is depressing. GRACE: Getting what we don't deserve - i.e. forgiveness of sin, eternity in heaven through Jesus Christ. MERCY: Not getting what we deserve - i.e. punishment of sin, separation from God, eternity in hell. Other side of death is eternity. Either in hell; or in heaven through Jesus Christ. God offers grace and mercy for free through Jesus Christ death and resurrection. Jesus Christ suffered, ridiculed, spat-on, humiliated, crucified on The Cross, and therefore He understands our pain. He raised victorious, we will too. Those who endure till end are victorious. Jesus Christ coming again to judge all. The doors will be closed. Jesus Christ reveals every mystery, answers every question. We all deserve to know the truth. He is The Alpha and The Omega. He judges everyone. One day every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The First Christmas - Jesus Christ came to earth from heaven to save us from pre-existing sin. The First Good Friday - Jesus Christ crucified to The Cross, died willingly for remission of our sins. The First Resurrection Day, also linked to Easter - Jesus Christ resurrected from death. Jesus Christ made entry to Holy Heaven free through Him. Repent of sin and be saved. Easy. The First Coming of Jesus Christ - He is Lamb, slaughtered for remission of sins to save us from sin and hell. And resurrected. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ - He will be Lion, The Judge. The Lamb and The Lion. Jesus Christ forgave all who crucified Him, and now forgives all, even who reject, ridicule and mock Him. He loves all unconditionally. Believe, trust, repent of pre-existing sin in Jesus Christ that He died for remission of our sins and resurrected, and coming back to judge, accept Him as Lord and Saviour, and be saved from sin and hell. Any time, any where. Even now. Simple. Nothing to lose, everything to gain. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. I found God loved me regardless of sins, weaknesses and rejections by others. As sinner I cannot save myself through deeds. He believed me and has faith in me. I am not in competition with others. God loves you all, individually. (My journal. Our prophet cried upon hearing that his community will get divided in 72 sects. What was a political division, evolved into an ideological division. Muslims should understand that Islam is about God. And God alone. And his remembrance and worship. Unfortunately people need their human idols like the 12 imams , the 4 khalifas, karbala etc. This sickness is greater among the shia and to a lesser extent in the sunnis. Loving the ahlul bayt is a good thing but idolising them is compromising the Deen. Between Ali and Mu'aweiya , it is Ali who was on the right. I would even agree with the shia on Fadak and Saqifa but these are historical and not fundamental to faith. sunnis may be wrong on a few things but their fundamentals are way better than the shia who border on shirk.
