Reboxing | The Castles of Burgundy: Special Edition (Awaken Realms)

In this video I'll do a reboxing of the Special Edition of the amazing board game 'The Castles of Burgundy' by alea and Awaken Realms! That means, I'll show you how to put everything back into the box!

This video helped alot. It was too much for me to figure out on my own, especially with all the expansion items that I'd not played before. I must've paused your video a dozen times while I punched each board out and put everything where it belongs. I, too, opted not to get the acrylic tiles out of cost and I'm glad I didn't. If they don't all fit in the tray it would be a terrible hassle to take everything in and out of the box all the time. Thanks for your instructions.

Just got my copy last week from the latest KS. I can confirm everything from the acrylic add ons fit into the box. The worker tokens dont all fit in their slot, but there's enough space to share with other token slots, even after those slots have been filled with their respective acrylic tokens. About 5 acrylic worker tokens will be distributed. The burgundy (red) hex tiles will also need to share a bit of space with the grey hex tiles. Not perfect, but not an insurmountable issue in either case. You won't need to pull out multiple boxes for your acrylic stuff.

really helpful thank you. one thing I did slightly different--for the small corner tray I put burgundy castles, blue ships, and gray mines each in one of the 4 slots for hex tiles. The fourth one holds all the expansion hex tiles as detailed on pg 3 (until I want to add them in, then they'll go in the bags, and I'll probably store the Inns the way you did)

Finally got mine today!! It’s soo pretty. Probably my most blinged board game in my collection. I was soo busy taking pictures, I will have to punch everything out tomorrow 😂. Btw, i heard from other that the black bag stains the other bags. So i think that’s why they had that bag in a plastic bag in the box. So I might try to wrap it in plastic as well to avoid any transfer of colours.

I have my metal coins in the exact same spot and they don't all fit and allow me to close the lid because the tray was manufactured all warped on the assembly line without a flat bottom on the storage slot. So disappointed in it. And they can't do anything to fix it. I see everyone else has their trays working correctly. The only way to get my plastic lid to close, was to move the coins over to the stacking score markers slot, put 3 of the score markers where the coins used to sit (they lay making a U shape from the fudged up tray), and the 4th score marker goes on top of the standees. It's the best I can do.
