Washington DC is also home to the National Museum of Air and Space where they showcase famous fighter planes and helicopters as well as space shuttles so they could make the connection that way

@Bengal "not sure why their logo says Steelers in it" - The Steelers named themselves after the blue collar steel mill workers of Pittsburgh, a city known for hard work and grit. The logo was adopted from the main manufacturer in the world at its time US Steel (headquartered in Pittsburgh). Look up US Steel logos and you'll notice a familiar brand. They branded all their products with this signifying it was their product, much like "made in USA". Art Rooney adopted this logo and changed it from saying "Steel" to "Steelers". He tested it on only the right side of the helmet to see if he liked it or wanted to just keep a black helmet. After deciding to use the logo, he also decided to leave it only on the right side as a part of team history. There's more about the history of the logo itself in terms of being created by US Steel and making steel.

The Steelers logo is based off US Steel's logo which was based in Pittsburgh. There logo is literally the same but instead just says steel instead of steelers. That's why the Steelers logo literally says Steelers on it.

Reason that the word Steelers is written in their logo is because it was based on an old logo made for a Pittsburgh steel company. The only change was changing “Steel” to “Steelers.”

The Steelers logo is based on the Steelmark logo that was the logo of the Steel Institute, and it said 'Steel' in the logo. The Steelers actually had to get permission to change the wordmark in the logo from 'Steel' to 'Steelers'... also the diamonds/hypocycloids aren't for the city of Pittsburgh, they represent the materials used to make steel.

The reason the Steelers have their name in it because the the steelmark logo has the word steel in it. So the Steelers just added the “ers” in the logo. The logos are exactly the same except one is “Steel” and the other is “Steelers”

The only ones that i liked are 1. Cardinals 2. Falcons 3. Ravens (could have been better without the checkers imo) 4. Bills 5. Bears 6. Packers 7. Lions 8. Colts 9. Chargers (could have been better with different colors) 10. Titans 11. "Red tailed hawk" sounds much cooler than ''Red skins" (that would be a great improvement tbh) Other than that the ones that i didn't put on the list were the ones that i wasn't a fan of, but i bet they could have been better :)
