Thanks for your troubleshooting help. I could only get 1 card at a time going so ordered the adapter to flash an m.2 Hopefully I'll be up and running on my m.2 soon. Keep up the good vids brother.

Mine arrived today. So far I only have 1 card up and running but will soon move cards from my ATX boards over to this and see how reliability goes. I may need to invest in a couple more of these!

@@RabidMining Update. Weather finally cleared and I was able to swap out the PC MB for the RebTech and oh wow what a difference. Right now it is 5 RX 6600 XT's and they all run 1-2 MH more than my other rig on a PC MB also with 5 cards. Been up for 1.5 days, no crashes, no errors just a solid 32.5 MH on every card. I have 2 HP 400W power supplies splitting the load. HiveOS shows a total load of 337W. I have enough room on my shelf for 2 more cards.

can it still be powered by normal ATX PSU? since there is no 24 pin to send signal to turn on power, i wonder if would could be safely powered by an ATX PSU

Did you solve the issue? I got mine and the RebTech 2.0 can be detected online without any GPU. As soon as I add a GTX 1660 Ti, the rig can not be seen online. I'm getting the same error message

Didn't the originial RebTech's only support same GPU (amd or nvidia) only setups? Plus that igfx can be pesky

Has anyone tried installing Windows 10 to the MicroSD card from a USB drive ? I boot off the USB Win10 install media but can't see the MicroSD Memory when Windows 10 looks for a storage device.....

Weird?! I've got USB drives for all of my 9 rigs and they haven't caused me any issues. Sure the initial setup of any rig seems to take some messing around but once they get up and running and you iron the details out, it seems to be solid, most of the recent builds are all purring along nicely. One thing that has caused issues on B450 chipsets is using SSD drives and then in turn those SATA ports taking away precious PCIe lanes. Perhaps SSD is the way to go? Worth a try

ya thats the difference between AMD and Intel AMD based Motherboards use the PCIE lanes for the usb and sata connectors where intel doesn't.

I prefer AMD for the CPU mining of course but with 3 new Intel boards recently, perhaps I could have a change of heart with system design. 2 of those TB360 boards for 8 cards riserless has me thinking of making a serious move in that direction. I like the Rebtech MB because it small and efficient. At $530 CAD after tax it seems "on par" with H110 Pro BTC MB at ~$670 all in. For now I will stick with H110 because it can run 5 more GPUs than the Rebtech.

@@scubari Yep, I have a couple of old motherboards and cpu's from past computer upgrades that I used in two rigs. I do have a 1 to 6 splitter and a 1 to 4 being used as you mentioned. I was just thinking it would look better as one unit. Thanks for your idea though.

well I am not sure what you mean by auto power on? like if the power goes out then back on? the breakout board remembers its state so it will turn back on incase of a power loss.

@@RabidMining what he means is that standard motherboards have a bios option to reboot on power loss. So that along with the zsx remembering it’s state means if you have an outage, it knows to reboot the board itself. Without that setting, you just have the zsx sitting there powered up and waiting for the motherboard to kick on.

the MB retains as well so once its on it will reboot normally like turning on a regular MBs power loss option. Like in the video I just turned on the breakout board and the MB went on itself.

Nice but the AMD board only accepts AMD video cards so that's a bummer. The Intel version accepts all gpu so they've got some improvement to do with amd based .products. Wish it had Level 3 memory too but if your not cpu mining its not a big deal.

the first one runs Nvidia cards as well. Just had issues with 1660 supers 20xx and 30xx series run just fine on ver 1.

Those only work if you have a CPU as well as MB that supports enough pci lanes if so then ya is a good option.
