Rebuild a Japanese White Pine Bonsai (Pruning, Wiring and repotting)

A one year timelapse to rebuild a Japanese White Pine Bonsai. Here I completely thin the needles of the pine to encourage backbudding. Then I let the pine grow, and I wire the tree out. I bend the big main trunks and finally repot the tree to come to a new main design of a Japanese White Pine.

Hello! You seem very knowledgeable, could you help me? I bought pinus mugo last year, had it in my balcony through the winter, it looked great. I wired it for a month or two in the winter. It got a bit sap going out of the bark but it didn't seem damaged. In the spring, it started getting brown needles, I thought maybe it's the pests so i sprayed it a couple of times with my homemade natural mixes of 1 tsp peppermint castile soap, 1 tsp tea tree castile soap, 1tsp hydrogen peroxide 1%, 2 tbsp isoprol alcohol, 500ml water. It didn't help much, then I repotted it from the nursery pot into akadama/lava/pumice mix, picked a big pot too to give it more room to grow. I did move the roots quite a bit when repotting as i entangled them and removed the old potting mix so maybe I stressed it further. Now it sits in my balcony, some needles are still browning, the ones at the top seem to be more green. Also, it didn't properly flower in spring, I can see the beginnings of buds but they didn't actually grow. So I thought maybe it's lacking nutrients? I used slow release fertilizer on it now. How do I save the tree? Thanks!

chances are the wiring is the issue or keeping it too dry. All the handling just made it worse. Most of the time it is best to leave it alone
