I’m in a car ride on a family trip at 3am listening to this, I have been making changes in life, rn been dealing with coming off opiates for a permanent solution no longer for a tolerance break, I already quit all other things like drinking and few other destructive behaviors some years back but the opiates I been avoiding a bit but been addressing it now. To anyone struggling with habits just know it’s doable and if i did it you can to, the key is time away from a habit or behavior through consistently and not to buy into the idea tht you will always struggle with your vices bc it’s just not true like actually not true. you just need to reshape or “ rebuild “ your self to be a new you without tht habit to where it’s no longer a resistance of said thing your dealing with but rather a new you tht is content and chooses new ways to live and in a way tht you are truly satisfied with not just resistance bc tht will always wear you down eventually but hang in there it takes time don’t beat yourself up so much, I mean your here after all listening to this audio book and reading this comment. Stay strong and keep working on yourself just be real with yourself and prayer, prayer, and more prayer it will pay off, it did for me with so many behaviors

hey because of "neuroplasticity" our brains neural networks (which carry and store thoughts and memories" can be built back up again if we just keep on doing and thinking of things that we want to think of and do then that can build up our ability through time be super kind to yourself! treat yourself and speak to yourself like you would treat and speak to a friend you really care about i hope things work out Really good for you! I refused pain medications that would cause addiction and unwanted side effects. Through the grave of God I found Serrapeptase. It saved my life. I couldn’t have lived with the pain I was suffering from. I began eating a no carb, no sugar diet and it really helped my mobility. I hope you read this. If you do, please let me know. The Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras said, “Man, know thyself; then thou shalt know the universe and God.” In Luke 3:15-22, we read about two who took time to look deep within themselves, to find God’s direction, and to live their lives authentically, according to God’s calling. John the Baptist and Jesus knew themselves, their place in the universe, and the purpose that God had for their lives. John’s family were strict adherents to the law and customs of the Hebrew people. As the only son of Zechariah the priest, John would have been expected to grow up to be a priest himself. Yet John knew himself well enough to buck the system, to seek his calling within himself, and to live it out to the glory of God. Verses 15-16 say: As the people were in expectation, and all were questioning in their hearts concerning John, whether he might be the Christ, John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”[i] John knew both who he was, and who he wasn’t. He knew God’s mission for his life,

I'm not really an audiobook guy or reader. I'm more of a communicator. I really want to discuss a specific situation I've recently been in, with someone who's listening. I was onstage a hypnotist show, and it turns out, I really offended a lot of people in my honest trance. I was told what I said, and I'm ash amed. I have a problem: I look down on people with ASD, and it really upset them. So badly, that one of them--a 13-year-old girl--tripped me as I walked by. I guess I deserved it. I don't want to be this prejudi ced guy anymore who labels people, especially those on the spectrum. I want to be better and more accepting, not shallow and close-minded
@AudioBooksOfficeАй бұрын
It's commendable that you're reflecting on your actions and wanting to improve. Growth often comes from uncomfortable situations, and it's never too late to change our perspectives and attitudes.
@johnrainsman6650Ай бұрын
@ but changing the perspective and attitude isn’t that simple. It’s AUTOMATICALLY in me, how I think and feel about autistic people. I look down on them and see them as inferior human beings. That’s the problem, and it’s stuck inside of me
