That paint definitely needs to be buffed and waxed and detailed. I can see all the speckles on video imagine in person. If it was a Hyundai sure as is but a Merc owner would expect to be fussier ya know.

Free tip guys: at 2:15 and 5:50, you clean surfaces with wax and silicon remover, never let it dry, you must wipe it before drying... ask your tech rep, you'll see!!! 43 years in bodyshop.

Love the videos, and you guys are doing an awesome job. Having grown up in a body shop working with my dad, I cringed a little watching the taping job. No offense, but I taped faster when I was 10 yo than what I saw. But, I only met one person in my life that could tape faster. I'm 71 now, but probably need to do a video on how to tape a car since I never see anyone doing it right (and fast). Like I said, no offense intended. When you said that the paint booth was really cold, we always worried about paint blushing (looking milky white/cloudy), but I guess current paints are better than in the 50's/60's. I had emailed you guys to find where in SC you are located, but no response. Do you mind sharing your location? I've owned numerous salvage titled vehicles in my time, so not opposed to buying another one, and would certainly consider buying one from you guys. Anyway, thanks again for your videos. Always a pleasure. Forgot to add: I noticed the painter started on the edge of the hood on one side, but started in the middle on the other side. We always started in the middle, but not sure why we did that. Maybe a matter of choice. I just found that to be odd.

They won't leave it like that. You can spot it a mile away especially on a black car in the sun. They will sort all of that after they have done the bumper

Looks decent but there's a lot of dust in the clear. As big as you are getting you deffinetly need a down draft type system especially on a Benz paint job. Also you definitely want to use blue lock tight on those air bag bolts thats like an industry standard. I was a mechanic for 15 years. Just sime constructive criticism. Looks like a good deal though.

They only showed the first coat of paint. You could clearly see the primer, but then they went right to clear in the edit and the primer was no longer visible, so they put at least one more coat of paint on.

Love your video's & have never said a critical word. But no offense guys but there is a lot of crap in that hood paint. I know its not really a paint booth (downdraft & all) but the air needs to be cleaner and wear a paper suit. Particularly with black paint. Its a Mercedes 500 class in black guys
