Nothing wrong with the look of the wave breaker, thats exactly how I'd do it as well. I'm a South Aussie and here we get a steep chop so I'd go for bimini and clears to stay dry in winter. But yeah thats a great boat, it's the hull i'd love to fix up and customize. Do you reckon a smaller HP motor would be ok on that hull, what would be the smallest you could get away with you think?

Whatever it cost him so far it can easily cost more...stainless bow ,grab and rocket launchers bimini & clears , minn kota , sea dek flooring, seat boxes and seats , bait station, side mount rod holders, sound system, lighting , out riggers and some decent game rods.😁
