Wow Keith, you sure jogged my memories of Structural Airframe Repair while in the Air Force more than 45 years ago. I did an awful lot of chain drilling, as we called it. Not in copper, but mostly in aluminum and stainless steel. Then I’d try using a burr bit with many teeth. Mostly it would start vibrating and chattering about, so like you, the hand files usually worked out the best. Great Job. You also stay safe and extremely healthy!!!

I always thought copper was too soft to use it like you do but you prove me wrong

Copper is tough as it soon work hardens.
