The issue with the boot not opening could be down to the rubber around the rear wiper being perished and letting water in. It shorts the boot handle out, at least that’s what happened with mine. Replacing the fuse might work but chances are it will go again.

Iv got it working off of the key but the handle won't work, so, it could be but the boot it's self looks dry.

@@stuartgrahambuilds Yeah mine worked off the key but not handle as well….sounds like the boot switch has water ingress.

I'll deffo pull it apart again and have a look, thanks for the info on this.
