Look forward to follow this Magnum PI projekt, what a great find😀 Good idea is to find a similar finished car and take lots of pictures. Makes it a lot easyer. 👍

Congrats on the new project. Pretty epic to have a ferrari on the channel. If one can rely on presumption its gonna be a real pain as italian cars are not that nice to work on in general. If i dissaseble something and let 3 days pass i can barely remember how to put it back ....cant imagine this being fun to put back to a complete car again after that many years and owners :)

I'm sure we will manage 🙂

@@RetroRestorationGarage On a side note...i bought a manta that has last run in 2001 and as u can imagine the cooling system is full of rust. The water galleys in the engine behind the water pump are now kinda clean as i disassembled everything and put a garden hose through the back heater hose. Water is coming clean now. I ran the engine with radiator cleaner twice on looped hoses, no thermostat, no radiator, then ran it 3 times with just water to rinse, but it still looks pretty crusty when i look inside. Should i do more or this is enough. I will run the whole system when i put back everything together with water and flush 2 more times after the car runs a bit. I am tempted to remove the plugs on the block and hand agitate the rust a bit more( might be an overkill). Any suggestions will be welcomed. (I didnt want to run rad.cleaner with the radiator and heater core to avoid them leaking and just rinsed them with pressured water)
