Rebuilding a Totaled 2018 BMW 440i Gran Coupe! Part 1. Frame Repair.

What’s up guys and welcome to 23rd garage today we begin working on the 2018 BMW 440i Gran Coupe. The car was involved in a front and collision and the owner bought it back from the insurance company. He was able to get the car cheap enough to where it was it’s worth rebuilding it. Most of the parts he bought came from an f82 M4, the only thing that he had to buy that was 440. I is the body panels. It’s amazing how similar all these chassis are. We even installed the top crossbeam radiator support from an M4 so he could install the carbon hoop if he wanted to. In this video, we do the framework and get the car ready for the paint shop.

Looking good so far. I would definitely say that those brackets will make a difference in gaps. Hopefully that will do it. The frame work looked pretty spot on.

it never ceases to amaze me the damage some people do to there cars, ok so accidents are just that, BUT you might expect a car like this, (and i will just add, it is only a BMW) shouldn't it be better at stopping when it has all these fandango modern components ABS and all that jazz, but then you have to ask, maybe its not the cars fault, perhaps it is the driver, what was he/she doing at the time eh, were they being silly, were they a little tipsy, i mean i'm just saying i mean i'm not the greatest driver in the world, but i do like to think i'm considerate, i often consider how much i'd like to fit a 50Cal to the front and delete a few folk in front of me (actually some nutter tonight was driving slow, all over the road, braking when he didn't need to, indicating right, and then turned left, you have to ask yourself don't you, don't you?) - my first rule is simple, cars are killing machines, they can kill and they can kill you, respect that and never forget it ask yourself what your in, yes a car, well its a car when it's parked at the side of the road, but when your in it, its a God damn frigging hazard on the road, that's what it is haha!! great job Kat n Yuri, awesome job, and not looking as hot and sweaty today

seroius question is there a arbitration system on you tube for channels basicaly trying to use other channels names in different order of wording = or should i say using a name so close to yours that you tube sends viewers to their channels videos when looking up your channel...i was just sent a whole list of videos by a channel calling themselves garage 23...i was just wondering how they decide on a solution for this obvious shall we say this backhanded infringement use of a channel name...or the choosing of a channel name...to create conflict within their web sites and different channels...blahblahblah means ill shut up now...
