Doubling down on his error means you can not trust the works completed, because you know he lied, to cover that mistake! And yet the remedy is about as painless as it could be. Admit, apologise, rectify and move on! Simple. Everyone makes mistakes, the difference becomes, how we deal with it! Martin, a question re these burners. Given the patents expired on the Webasto and Eberspacher diesel fired heaters, resulting in the grey copy imports from China, are you seeing any of these being used on narrowboats? Most have service kits so maintenance seems not to be an issue. One of the biggest maritime fears is a fire onboard, hence the question. Many of the off grid and shed channels promote them as great units ( good instalation being key). Price differential being a big point of difference.
