i would replace your lift pump. They tend to get weak over the years and it may not be putting out the correct psi anymore and getting air into the system. Cheap insurance as it sounded like a fueling issue as it cranked stupidly fast. Lockup would be nice ive got a 4x4 727 lockup trans out of my 80 just lying around

You are definitely correct that’s gonna be our first replacement as someone put a cheap electronic one on the truck! But yes a lock up would be nice we might end up manual swapping the truck we will see what happens. Thanks for watching!
